So yeah... Obviously my hiatus has gone longer than I planned for it to. The project I mentioned is nearly completed, but I got swamped at work which caused me to not be able to work on it as much as I wanted.
I am going to go ahead and return, but I will not be quite as active as I was before until I get things situated.
Also, I need some artists. My friend and I are trying to start a game company, but we are lacking in artists. If you or anyone you know may be interested, contact us with some sample pieces at connectedmonkeys@hattedmonkeys.com

Hey just wanted to give you guys a heads up since I'm sure you've noticed I'm a little scarce recently. Work is just blah and my hours are weird, and I'm on the west coast so by the time I get home most of you guys are asleep XD. But I'm not gone and not on hiatus or anything. Just letting you know that on weekdays the most I can really do are like texts and such. Weekends are the only time I really have the brain power to do threads. However...I do have a week off the week of Feb 11th (yay PTO). So I will be around a bunch from Feb 9th to Feb 17th. I will be working on finishing up my screenplay, but that will probably be done like one day. I have to do it in one sitting or I won't do it...that is my process. Just wanted to let you guys know!!

Our customer has been antsy about their budget so they've been requesting quotes for projects due months from now...and other fun shenanigans like kicking up a fuss for someone to come look at a mistake that they made RIGHT NOW and then aren't even on-site to do the walk-through even though I drove 3hrs to meet them. You're welcome! :| My co-workers and I are hoping they'll STFU soon on the quick turn quotes, but I'm so backed up on projects right now I can only laugh about it. I'm going to hiatus myself for a few weeks. Dawn will be working her part-time gigs. She has cut her hours at the hotel to work more at On The Rocks, but is also porting people and things around for fun and profit on her nights off. Dale's got high school and tagging along with Toby to CL rehearsals until his home life shakes up.

So I have a couple of projects I have been putting off for a while now, and I need to get serious about finishing them. It shouldn't take too long for me to get them all worked out, but I will need to go ahead and take a hiatus from many things, this rpg included. I am especially sorry to Lindsey since you just tagged with Caleb on the thread with Zarita, but I will be back in just a week or two(at the most).
For my absence, my characters will simply be focused on projects as well giving them a reason to not be around much.
Jaden will be doing his best to learn his part for the musical
Elliot will be working especially hard on the Corporate Lobotomy clothing
Sumi will be working on school projects(even though they aren't due for another two months)
Zarita will be selling a painting on the black market in another country
Like I said, I will try to be back in a week, two at the latest.

Okay. So I shouldn't have done this, but I have little to no self control, especially as my online class starts up. Literally, I will do anything and everything in my power to avoid doing real work, even if making character profiles is more work than just reading the damn assignments.
Anyways. This is Alissa with my LAST CHARACTER I SWEAR TO GOD. And this is Juliet Martin. Some of you might recognize her as looking like Macy. Well, that's because she is Macy's identical twin sister. Macy's parents lied to her about being their actual child. She was actually adopted. And because she was an earlier patient than some of the other ones, she wasn't given the serum until AFTER birth. This means that her twin sister was NOT given the serum and adopted normally by people not in the project. Early scientists wanted to test the effects of twins growing up in different environments one with a power, and one without. But Juliet's parents wouldn't sign any agreement to allow them to do it, so it sort of fell through. Juliet does NOT know she has a twin. But, she does have a power. She bought it though. It's regeneration, which explains why she looks young when she's almost 38.
Juliet lives in NYC. She just got promoted to a senior agent position at the real estate firm she works in so she's about to move to a nicer part of the city. She's got a lot of similar traits to Macy (its the twin thing) but she's actually pretty different. If anyone would like to be her friend, that would be welcome. She needs a best friend, exes, etc etc. Preferably people from off the island, who wouldn't know who she looks like. If ya'll want to BRING IN some friends and other people from her life for her (she has a younger brother), then I would love you forevs.
Obviously this will add another touch of depth to the eventual Noah/Macy/Laney/JJ story line. XD It will be fun and very very bad.

Hey guys,
I've been thinking a lot and I've decided I'm just going to pull from Genome completely. I realized that it's going to be at least a year (literally, I graduate in December '13) before I can get fully back into the swing of RPing. It's not to say I'll never be back, and I feel really bad because I've got SO many damn lines with so many of you guys, but I also feel bad tying up certain characters. It's completely up to you what you'd like to say happens with some characters and their plots.
Some of the new players probably don't know who my kids are, and for you veterans out there, I'll refresh your memories:
