On Saturday, August 22, 2003, a reporter from the Daily Prophet attempted to assassinate King Lucius and succeeded in killing Minister of Magic Robert Greengrass. When his home was searched, a cache of documents and writings implicated a conspiracy by the Minister of Magic and the Crown to surpress muggleborn magic. The Crown denied the allegations, but with two of the most outspoken muggleborn critics of the crown, Aurors Hermione Granger and Nymphadora Tonks sent on a dangerous mission to Iraq and injured, and increasingly violent protests from muggleborn activists groups, people are beginning to question if the royal family really does have their best interests at heart.
