Five reasons why you should join [info]mcdermott_rpg:

2. Threading is love and there is no AIM requirment.

3. IC drama good. OOC drama bad. We believe in keeping those pesky OOC drama llamas firmly in the corral.

4. The mod is awesome and makes sure that there is never a lack of things to do so that your characters can be involved.

5. All types of PBs are welcome! Have an older PB that needs a good home? Put them on the faculty, we love our teachers.

In the midst of the greatest Wizarding war of this age, we want to chart human events. We want to learn how alliances formed, how friendships tensed and dissolved, how brothers became enemies, how enemies became brothers. We are just as interested in delving into inner, personal conflicts as exploring those of a more universal kind. What were these characters really thinking and feeling? What was running through their minds? This is what we want to discover. We're fleshing out the First War as it's meant to be fleshed out. There's no spin on bumpshunted; there doesn't need to be. There's enough to play out already without throwing in an alternate universe setting or time-travelling the Trio in to shake things up. After all, the First War is all about the people who were around for it: the people that fought in it, watched loved ones die and disappear, and especially those who died fighting for whatever they believed in.

The Other Side is an alternate universe Harry Potter post DH game. Stranded in an unfamiliar world, the class of '97/'98 come to the realization that there has never been a Lord Voldemort, here. He is more commonly known in this world as just plain old Tom Riddle, right hand man to she-who-must-not-be-named: Bellatrix Lestrange. The world has been run down since in her hands, and now they are stuck living amongst the miserable people already living under her rule. However, interests peak when they realize that they are accompanied by the Class of '77/'78, including most of their parents. The only problem is, they're just as lost and confused as the rest of them. And, with Bellatrix's henchmen hunting them down and tagging them like animals, what are they supposed to do to get home? Some "Guests", as they name them, choose to try and join her army to save their own tails, whilst others try and plan a means in which to attack. Their theory: they did it once, they can do it again! But will it be successful? With Guests and other civilians dying left and right, they have to make a decision, and quick.

My name is Lissa. I posted many of these last week (with the filled ones edited out of course), there are a couple of new games here and some requests for characters I would like to play at the bottom.

[info]caveinimicumrpg via [info]caveinimicummod, a post-Hogwarts game set in 2000. I play Ginny Weasley and Daphne Greengrass and will eventually be picking up a fourth that only has the first name Chloe at this point.

* Ginny would like to see all of her brothers.
* Daphne would like to see other Slytherins, especially her best friend Pansy Parkinson.
* Chloe would like to see Terence Higgs who is an old family friend but the bane of her existance... for now.
* As a mod, I would like to see more Death Eaters and Order Members

[info]exrpg via [info]expugn, a marauder era game set in 1978. I play Regulus Black, Emmeline Vance, Lily Evans and Alice Longbottom.

* For Regulus, I would like to see more young Death Eaters within a few years of himself. Especially if there could be some more in 7th year, as he's going to really be struggling with things when he gets back to school and Death Eaters to be there and influence him would be fun. He does need one psuedo best friend, a pureblood from Slytherin.
* For Emmeline, I would like to see more Order Members for her to be friendly with and maybe a couple of guys around her age to be completely nervous around.
* For Alice, I would like to see Augusta Longbottom. Alice and Frank graduated from Hogwarts this last June and got married right after. They're now living on the Longbottom property (far from the main house) Augusta is happy for Frank, but she's never been one to admit it, so she tends to be rather cold to Alice, making her think she hates her.

[info]maraudermaprpg via [info]maraudermapmod. It's a 7th year marauder era game that will be opening at 15 characters or on September 1st. There I play Alice Bauer, Narcissa Black, Sirius Black and Lily Evans.

* Narcissa would like to see her fiancè, Lucius Malfoy, her sister Bellatrix Lestrange, she's the only sister Narcissa has left and with her upcoming wedding, she would like her sister to be there as her support. She would also like to see more current and former Slytherins as the game is Gryffindor heavy right now.
* Sirius would like to see Peter Pettigrew to finish off the marauders. He also wants Regulus Black in game to argue with.
* Alice would like to see Frank Longbottom (Preferred, but not necessary pb of Jonathan Groff) who could either be in his 7th year or just out of school. Whether they're friends working into a relationship or already in a relationship is also up for discussion.

[info]othersiderpg via [info]busillis. It's an Alternate Universe game with marauder era and trio era characters who end up in a "new world" and find that Bellatrix is the Dark Lord and Tom Riddle is her right hand. In this game I play Sirius Black and Ginny Potter.

* Sirius would like to see his favorite cousin Andromeda Black.
* Ginny would like to see Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood, as they're her closest friends. None of her brothers are cast, so she'd like to see them as well, including Doppleganger!Fred Weasley.

[info]hexedcity via [info]hexandthecity. It's a next gen game set in 2029 and revolves around the lives of the young graduates (Teddy is the oldest in game going all the way down to the recent 2029 grads). I play Lily Potter and Lei Davies.

* Lily would like to see her brothers James Potter and Albus Potter because she loves them and just wants them around in general.
* Lei would like to see her ex (ping me for details), a best friend and her brother Kenji.

[info]confundusrpg via [info]confundusmod. It's a next gen game set in 2023. I play Lily Potter, Victoire Weasley, Olivia Bletchley, Hannah Finnigan, Breanna Towler and Artemis Nott.

* Here again, Lily would like to see Albus Potter. James has recently graduated, so Albus is the oldest Potter at Hogwarts right now and the only one to keep Lily in line.
* Victoire would like to see her fiancè Teddy Lupin. I am up for changing their status from anything to dating/not yet engaged to already married (possibly with a child) if we get a Teddy before opening. I just played it safe by saying they were only engaged. She'd also like to see both of her siblings: Dominique Weasley and Louis Weasley
* Lily and Victoire would both like to see their cousins, none are cast yet.
* Olivia would like to see her younger brother Lucas Bletchley. Their relationship can be discussed upon interest as it's a lot to explain here.
* Hannah would like to see more students and possibly a romantic interest or a short fling or two because her brother, Padraic would hate it.
* For Artemis I would like to see her twin brother (17 years old) Apollo Nott and her older sister Carina Nott. Their mother and father (Callista Nott and Theodore Nott) would also be welcome additions.
* For Breanna, I would like to see any of her siblings. Kendall Towler is her closest sister and roommate but she also has Lilah Towler and Maddox Towler. Her parents, Verity Towler and Kenneth Towler are welcome as well.

I also have two non-HP games I would like to find people for.

[info]butterrpg via [info]buttermod Is a season 3 Gossip Girl game. It's canon through season 2, diverging into AU from there. I play Chuck Bass and Lily Bass.

* For both Chuck and Lily, I would like to see Eric van der Woodsen. Lily would like to have her other son around and Chuck would like to have the only van der Woodsen he believes really understands him, especially since Serena has gone off to college.
* For Lily, I would like to see her son, Scott Ronsson. Rufus is in game as well and I think it would cause interesting storylines if the son they thought was dead were to show up and shake things up.

[info]returnofkane via [info]returnofkanemod is a end of season 2-season 3 Veronica Mars RP. It's mostly canon with one big exception (Lilly has a chance to be alive), though it will diverge more into AU for season 3. I play Lilly Kane.

* Lilly would like to see her brother, Duncan Kane and her ex-boyfriend Logan Echolls. I would also like her parents Jake and Celeste Kane around to react to her waking up.

Lastly, I am looking for a place to play Veronica Mars. I have a journal made for her [info]amarshmallow but nothing there yet. I'm willing to play her in a PSL or a Panfandom game. If anyone has a specific request for Veronica, please let me know.

A Post-DH Hogwarts Based Game

On September 1st Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry will reopen and the old class of '98 have been invited back to resit their year with the current NEWTS class. Things are finally safe...

But nothing ever stays safe for very long.

In Europe, Wizarding communities are being crippled by a virus that slowly destroys the ability to perform magic and it doesn't take long before the virus finds its way into the school.

The Ministry immediately quarantines Hogwarts, placing a ward around the castle and its grounds to stop the virus spreading further, and prevent escape of the infected.

One by one students find themselves losing their ability to perform ever the simplest of spells. But even as they struggle to try and discover a cure, darker forces are beginning to close in on the school...
