WHAT Benjy tells the rest of the Order about the propaganda. Official plans are made. Marlene strangles Gideon.

There was something genuinely unsettling about the look on Benjy's face as the Order of the Phoenix convened in a very large booth in the Five Feathers. It was unusual to see Benjy looking so focused and authoritative under these circumstances- he normally submitted to the wills of his seniors in the Order, and focus was generally not something he valued when in a pub. Sitting between Benjy and Caradoc, a notepad and pen in front of him, he watched everyone come in with a horrifyingly untouched beer sitting in front of him.
When everyone had arrived and he'd been given permission to speak, he began, in a voice that was low and serious but sounded quite convincingly publike- Dumbledore had chosen the ideal setting for Benjy Fenwick to stun the crowd.
"A bunch of us have been planning something for a few weeks, now," Benjy said, looking around the table at the people who had not been a part of the propaganda meeting, and lingering on Lily, who he knew damn well would know by now. "I know it was a shit deal, my getting fired from the Prophet, but I think it did us a load of good. Now I've got plenty more time on my hands, and the knowledge to use it. Me, Sirius, and the Prewett twins have decided to take a leadership role each- from here on out, I'll be your print bloke, you can talk to Sirius about pirate radio, and to the Prewetts about postering.
"Every good war effort needs propaganda. I assume the Ravenclaws could expand on this. Media is an essential part of the fight, and the Prophet is clearly not working in our favour. So, we're going to go amateur. Grassroots. Guerrilla. We're going to print editorials and articles and interviews, all anonymously, and deliver it to the streets. We'll even accept anonymous submissions. We'll broadcast on the radio when we have time. Put up posters- propaganda, like. Show people exactly what they should be thinking about the people around them, not some bul- smarmy press release."
He paused, chin sitting on entwined fingers. "Questions?"

WHO Benjy Fenwick and Albus Dumbledore. Unless I dunno Benjy dials the wrong number and gets a breather. :/
WHEN The morning of October 11, 1980.
WHERE Benjy's flat. And wherever Dumbledore is.
WHAT Benjy asks for a meeting for the ORDER OF THE PROPAGANDA!

Benjy hadn't tried the tape out much yet. He felt a bit stupid about this in retrospect, seeing as how he was fairly sure it was his complaining about owls that'd served as impetus for their creation, but he just hadn't had much to say to Dumbledore since they'd gotten them. After all, it wasn't really as if Dumbledore was the sort of man you, er, Spellotaped to say "hey sir we're having some tea and biscuits would you like to come down?" although Benjy got the feeling he would have liked to be.
Now, though, Benjy finally had something to say, and, having spent most of the weekend drawing up official plans so as to convince the remaining Order members he and the propaganda division were not totally out of their minds, he was ready for it.
"Professor, sir?" he asked hesitantly to his empty livingroom, two fingers on the tape on his ear.
