On Saturday, August 22, 2003, a reporter from the Daily Prophet attempted to assassinate King Lucius and succeeded in killing Minister of Magic Robert Greengrass. When his home was searched, a cache of documents and writings implicated a conspiracy by the Minister of Magic and the Crown to surpress muggleborn magic. The Crown denied the allegations, but with muggleborn test scores falling at Hogwarts and increasingly violent protests from muggleborn activists groups, people are beginning to question if the royal family really does have their best interests at heart.
