Hogwarts Filter

Friday night, we'll be Apparating to Diagon Alley and then walking into London and finding a restaurant. I can't tell you what's around the Leaky anymore or what kind of cuisine, but we'll try to find something that can accommodate us all. We'll be working with Scorpius and magazines to transfigure clothes into Muggle clothes.

This isn't mandatory, but please let me know how many are interested so we have an idea.

Padma

So my house and the floo in the Headmaster's office used to be connected. Do you think they still are? Or can you figure out how to do it without an entire system? If so, could your department be able to make more Floo powder? It would give us a great way to get into the middle of London without any Muggle seeing us Apparate.

Give me the what, where, with whom and what experience you have with Muggles and London, and we'll see if it's safe enough. Otherwise the answer is probably no, since we have no idea what we're going to find.

Let's see if that Indian place is still there, although probably not what the majority will want. I know a lot of Italian places were starting to pop up so there might be more now. I guess we'll have to see.

No matter what we do there's always something we're not doing. Also he can't give an answer if his life depended on it.

Average! Draco's average is once in never, and I expect most of those Slytherin purebloods are the same. Wouldn't even know how to dress in London anyway.

You and Hermione were in charge when everything was shut down and the Ministry itself is gone. So, I highly doubt anything is connected to anything. We can see what we can do about reconnecting this one connection.

But, I am not going to have my team completely reinvent the wheel, here. We are not the only country to use a Floo network. If we don't have a recipe for Floo powder between the books in the Library and those collected from your early scavenging expeditions, Malfoy can reach out to the Americans to arrange for purchasing some.

Right, but I apparently still lived in the house, so it might have connected to something- actually maybe that something might give us an idea where the last survivors congregated? I'm just throwing out ideas, since I don't know.

Just in case you were wondering? This is why you should never speak with foreign officials or the press.

If you don't back off Nott, you're going to push him to do something likely ill-advised, like leaving for good. And he won't be the one left at the castle to suffer those consequences when the castle gets pissed off about it.

Dad, you need to take a step back, breathe, and start thinking about what you say.

Whether you like it or not, you got yourself elected Minister for Magic. For everyone, not just the people you like. You're not an Auror any more. You can't approach everything as your way or the highway. You made yourself responsible for every single person here. You have to be the leader, the example of how this country's magical population should aspire to be. You want them to step up and do what's right? To be there for other people? You have to do the same without recriminations and lectures.

You continue to threaten people who disagree, to threaten everyone with punishment for one person's attitude, and you will turn into the school bully.

You might also want to reconsider lumping people you don't like and disagree with into 'Slytherins' if you want to prove to your younger son that you don't think less of him for being one.
