RP: Sirius and James Sirius
Who: Sirius and Jamie
When: Evening, May 3rd
Where: The Quidditch Pitch
What: Sirius is blowing off steam
The new brooms were amazing, putting even his old broom, Maxwell, to shame. He felt like a bit of a traitor saying it, but it was true. It handled better, flew faster, and turned so tightly Sirius thought he might get whiplash one of these days. He'd been flying as much as possible the last few days, trying to form a bond with it. After all, a man's broom was an extension of himself. Not to mention that Sirius still hadn't found a name for this broom yet. Usually he just knew, but this pretty thing was keeping its secrets from him.
Sirius turned upside down, letting go with his hands and hanging by his legs. He loved the way the world worked when it was upside down. He was just about to right himself and he saw someone walking by. Jamie, he thought, though it was a bit hard to tell from this high up. Still, Jamie was a good sort, from what Sirius had picked up at the handful of Potter lunches he'd crashed. It would be nice to talk to him without all that awkward tension though...
He flipped over and came in to land a few feet away, glad to see that it was indeed Jamie walking by.
"Hey! What brings you out here on this gloriously mediocre day?"
