As she talked, through the nerves and the fears, Loki just listened -and listened between the lines for things missing or loopholes, and rubbed her upper back gently. Frigg was such a cow. He knew she'd be angry and psychotically manipulative to a rather impressive level. He was prepared for that. But, he'd seen her in action on other things before, even those not involving himself. He knew, after all, the gritty details of how she became Odin's wife, and she knew he knew.
Knowing things he shouldn't was part of their... issue. Not all of it. Just part of it. It was hard not to hate someone when you knew what sort of snake was hiding in that woman's skin, and it was hard for her to not want to silence him as much as possible. Among other things.
“It doesn't matter,” he said softly. “She just has one of those yarn hook things up her ass. I'm not afraid of her, Sig.” In fact, Loki thought the opposite was probably closer to the truth. “You know she's caught some of her 'ladies' with me in the past and her threats were not so vitriolic. They never got chaperoned and they never stopped. So, the positive takeaway would be that you seemed worth the extra effort to her.” It was a stretch, but, he was trying to make her feel at least a little better about it.
His hand went back up to her cheek and stroked along it with his knuckles. “I am not trying to be flippant about this, but... I'm not particularly concerned. Her ability to stop us from seeing each other is extremely limited. Minuscule.” Loki smiled softly. “Pretty much non-existent... unless you take her threats to heart. Odin isn't going to listen to her for something this petty, she's on her own. If she tries to lock you in... she'd have to figure out how to keep me out, and considering her husband has employed me to steal things for him... she knows damn well that would be futile. Heimdall isn't going to abandon Bifrost for some stupid tantrum of hers and Thor is on your side.
“Sig, the only one who can actually enforce it... is you. She's just going to be cranky.”
