"Can't do that," he responded immediately, despite the fact that he could see she was getting her back up. His sister was in one of those moods. So much for hoping he could be sneaky, or trying to get her to see reason. Oh well. It had been worth a try.
"It is my concern. I worked too hard to get 'em together to let you mess it up just 'cause you don't like 'im." Thor glowered at Frigg. "She's perfect for 'im. She could be the 'un for 'im. 'Sides, she loves 'im, and why are you going to go and mess that up for 'er? What's wrong with you?"
Though most might think that Thor got by on nothing but bluster and size, the truth was, he could be just as stubborn as his sister. And he was not letting her ruin a couple of lives with her meddling when he could see how happy it made Loki and Sigyn. He didn't know the cause of Frigg's animosity for his best friend, but this was taking it way too far. Because now, she wasn't just messing with Loki. It was rippling outward. That was not alright. At all.
"Why are you trying to make 'er miserable?" he demanded. "'Cause that's what you're doing. You're not punishing 'im, you're hurting 'er. Don't know if you caught that this morning, when you were busy telling people that you get to run their lives-- which you don't. You get to run Asgard with Dad, that's not the same thing. You way overstepped on that 'un, sis. And not just with some girl, which would be bad 'nough. You did it with a friend, a real friend. Just how many a' those you think you got? Those cackling hens a' yours don't count, they just mimic you to get your favor. Sigyn's different, and you know it, and you are on the verge of screwing that up. For what? For what, Frigg?"
Stay out of it, his ass. Just who did she think she was, queen or something? Pft. She could put on as many airs as she liked, she was still his bossy sister. Stay out of it. Right.
