That sudden shift was slightly jarring, given that Styx was sure there was quite a bit of that rage of Hel's that was directed at the girl's father, but if the Nord was going to insist that it was being reserved for and directed toward the other Aesir instead then Styx was not going to push the issue. In fact, that was something she could support instead. Direct it elsewhere. She needed to cherish her family. Hel would have to deal with her issues with her father later, but for now... this would do.

But go into it smug and with a full stomach.” At which point she not-so-slyly nudged the bread and cheese toward the Nord.
