It was curious, and perhaps a little confusing, that Hel was brought to Asgard and then given her realm not by her choice. Had she been forcefully removed from Asgard? That seemed likely, but... strange. “So you were not born in Asgard, then?” Styx asked cautiously, though trying to not speak in a way that would cause Hel to retreat into herself.
Moving on, she continued, “and how is your current home not by your choice?” It wasn't surprising, given Hel's unusual appearance, that those who were far more superficial and vain would find ways to make her feel unwelcome. Personally, Styx thought that was part of what made Hel so fascinating to her.
Well, that and the occasional waves of hate that practically rolled off her.
