She listened as he described his plans. She couldn’t quite visualize it. At least not as well as she was certain he could. Regardless, he did make it sound wonderful. Very elegant and beautiful. This was the sort of thing he was good at, after all. She was beginning to believe that she could trust his judgement.
The he pointed out the bedroom. Their bedroom. She somehow managed not to sigh out loud. She was going to have to sleep with him. She was his wife after all. There were certain duties associated with that position. Aphrodite may have had something to do with making some of those duties. She was going to have to look into that.
For now, she was married to this lame, not-so-attractive man. And they were going to have sex. Dite always did say that there really was no bad sex. Disappointing, yes. But if you thought it was bad, someone wasn’t doing it right. Sex was like any other skill. The more you practiced at it, the better you got.
That made her wonder. How much sex has Hephaestus had? With all the gorgeous gods around, she wasn’t sure how many nymphs or goddesses would give Heph a second look. This could be interesting. She might be able to teach him a thing or two. Providing he would want to learn. She thought he would be foolish to turn down the chance to learn from the best.
“It sounds amazing,” she said, giving him an honest smile. “All the windows and light will be fabulous. I assume you’ll have a room for your work?” Dite might suggest a bath near his workroom if he puts one in. She would not want him walking around the house sweaty and smelly from all that smithing or whatever it was that he did.
