"Sort of, sir." Makaria flashed a tiny uneasy smile. He didn't know who she was did he? She could lie, she could say she was someone else. Obviously not anyone really important, he'd know important people. Did that mean she wasn't important? She was his niece! Oh mother went away for half the year because Olympus and her grandmother were more important than Makaria and Hades and the Underworld. The very King of the Gods didn't know his own niece. He couldn't have had that many.
No, not that many. Children yes, but Hades only had one daughter, and that was her. Makaria felt a bit insulted. But he was being kind. Was that the Zeus her mother described? Or that her father felt slightly annoyed at? History said though, that Zeus was a good and fair King.
