I heard there was a shopping run, so I'm down in the hotel kitchen making food. Luckily they have a deep-fryer here, since I learned to cook in the kitchen of a bar and am therefore incapable of making food that has actual nutritional content. If anyone wants to come down and request something, or wants something brought up to them, just drop by or let me know. Trust me, you'll be doing me a favor, I don't do well with being useless idle.

I'm sorry if I freaked anyone out last night. Since I can't guarantee that it won't happen again, I guess I should explain. Most of you know that my dad is a prophet, right? Well, prophethood seems to be genetic. Lucky me. Basically, when big events are about to happen I get a vision. Unfortunately, the human mind does not seem to be well-equipped for divine updates, so I wind up with a lot of fragments and a lot of irrelevant information sometimes about other people and a level of pain that makes me type like a monkey on crack and forget things like filters of either the computer or verbal variety.

I tried to take notes last night, and I'm trying to coalesce them into one document that's something like readable this morning so we'll have more information on what we're dealing with here and what's potentially going to happen. It is a slow process because even opening my eyes feels like death. I don't know if I'll come up with anything beyond what we already have though. This new version of Mr. Lewis is bad news. He came from the forest, and he definitely wants to hurt us.

Hi, I'm Rae, Ash's sister, and I hope this has already been mostly taken care of, but I've sort of pieced together what went on last night. I want to apologize for anything that my sister said or that I said that scared either of you, or made you feel like it might not be either safe or particularly welcoming at the hotel. She's very protective, but I just want to reiterate that she'd never hurt anyone who wasn't a genuine threat.

Also, Jared, I think your name was? Thanks for offering to help, and for telling her that trick with the pressure point. Once it was over that helped with getting some very, very needed sleep. Also it is going to need to be helpful again in a minute since the light from the computer currently feels like tiny, angry knives

Nice timing, Seal. I had shit to do today, like I don't know, putting down a T-Virus outbreak in freakin' Cairo. So, randomly displaced to a creepily empty city, nobody answering my hails, and I can't access the UNSC network. I'm guessing Seal. Anyone alive here who can tell me if I'm right?

My name is Kevin Tam, and I'm Jared Tam's big brother. Apparently somebody over at the hotel threatened to shoot him? I'd normally handle this at a better time, but right now it's made him so unwilling to go to the hotel that he's ignoring his own safety to stay away, and that's a big problem for me. So can someone, ideally the person who did the threatening but if not that, then someone who knows what happened please explain this to me? I'm not pointing any fingers yet, but under the circumstances, I do need to understand what happened and why.
