There is literally nothing here. I mean, I know that we mostly already knew that, but I've been walking a lot the past few days — I'm talking for hours — and the woods just keep going and going. They're just as evil a few miles away as they are right by the hotel, for what it's w I guess I was kind of hoping to find something further down...anything that would show a weakness or broken pattern...but I got nothing. Sorry guys.

I did something stupid in an attempt to find another kind of p help the greater good. Okay, so I moved to a room on the top floor of the hotel. One of the suites. Have to admit it's a lot better, more space. Great view from the balcony too. Oh, and has a better stove. Also.. did some shopping by myself too. New bigger TV, stereo, game systems, appliances, pretty much anything I can find in the stores.

Don't worry, I moved all the stuff we had up to there. Also figured it was time for a new room. You know, to start fresh. Plus the previous room has memories and I'd rather just forget, move on from all that. Not just for that, but it has better stuff in it. And can't beat the view either. All the food and stuff you got during the group shopping trips, you can take that as well since it's yours. Actually, I have an idea. Maybe see how much you can fit into the box. That way it's only one or a couple trips when you orb out. Though I'm assuming you can do that since it's tied to you. Won't work if anyone else moves it. Or family, not sure So it might be convenient for you to get it all in one go. I also have written logs and documents for each day, you're free to look at it for accuracy if you want. And see it's all true, then show it to your family as evidence of me not doing anything bad You can also take all the coffee too. It's fine, I'll just get more. Anyone else that haas stuff they had here from the store, feel free to take that too.

And why is there a box in the room? Cardboard. Either we have a burglar or it's magic. Well, of course it's magic. I only touched it. Accident. I was moving past it, dropped a pen, somehow held the corner a little to steady myself as I got back up and.. let's just say I won't do that again. Can't be moved, pushed, opened, touched, or anything like that. Sorta like the "elephant in the room" scenario. You know it's there, you see it, but best to just go around it or interact to it in any way, it will be better that way all around. Can Penny even hear me at all? Or if she can, might be a good idea to answer just once. For emergencies if they happen. She's in the box, obviously. Hope she's safe in it. Oh well, at least I know where my daughter is. At least I can see Jade when she's here. Hopefully not drinking like some other kids here Not that I mind Penny being in a box, just concerned of the comfort level. Her decision if she chooses it. Just as long as I know she's just in there (and not vanishing to anywhere else that I don't know), it's perfectly fine.

Don't touch the box. I hope you haven't, it's not a good feeling. Bad things happen. Not sure if it's the same thing each time, but once was enough in my case. She's in the box. Maybe she will answer if you call for her, hopefully. I just want to be sure she's alright if she's in there a long time. Like what if she falls asleep and wakes up with a sore neck or ankle, or something like that Or what to do if I need to get to somewhere if I can't tell her.

I don't really know your parents at all, but I imagine most responsible guardians would frown on underage drinking. I've also warned other people against coming anywhere near that box you're in. 1.) I'm thinking about trying to make vegetarian chili for dinner tonight (but not just with beans, like with the fake meat?) but I've never done it before; have you? I could use a hand or a little guidance if so...otherwise I guess I'll wing it and hope for the best.
2.) Has Ben said anything to you? He's acting weird...is he okay?

Crowded here, never lived with so many at one time Interesting, being here. Still rather be working. Never had so much free time before. I'd be working a case by now and getting to send more bad guys to prison. I'm sure I can keep busy anyway, keep things presentable, cook some things, etc. And acquire evidence of my innocence, shouldn't be too hard And get more coffee too.

Penny? Just reminding you to contact your family again, and probably Tessa as well. Unless you already have, but could do it twice a day if you want, or more. Also, I need to go get some things, mostly more food for all of us. And a few office supplies for me. Mostly notepads, PDA, pens, printing paper, etc. And you can get stuff for you too. That way you won't be bored watching me make food. So.. you'll need to come with me. I'd do it all myself if it weren't for this tether business.

Ben and Andy, you want to come with us? Might be easier as a group. And it makes her feel safer And Penny might prefer it too. As for dinner, I'll make my own. And Aaron suggested that I (or we can) bring Penny to him. I'd have to go along anyway. He has lots of coffee and she might like that and telling her no is bad. They both are into coffee.

In other news, for anyone curious, some of the rooms are laid out in such a way that you can totally be in the bathtub while your partner is still sleeping. I'm just saying. ...maybe it's just ours mine, I don't know, but it's kind of awesome.

...I miss you a little...this kind of sucks, actually, even if Jess is pretty nice company.

I gather that by now everyone's figured out something of what's going on here. This sort of thing has happened before, back in 2011. It should wear off within a couple weeks, but until then it's best to work out an arrangement with whoever you've found yourself tied to rather than testing it.

Is everyone okay after the initial chaos? I'm partnered with Loki, so if there are issues we can be there shortly.
