Jen here, bringing in two more characters because, hi, there's too much estrogen in this emptytown.

First up is Jared Tam (notsosrstam), au!verse child of Jessica Moore and Simon Tam. He's seventeen years old. Jared is kind of a clown, mostly interested in differentiating himself from his brother by taking more after his mother. He has a good sense of humor and he's almost painfully outgoing. Jared will literally talk to anyone. He's exceptionally intelligent, although you'd never know it talking to him, because he'd much prefer to be loud, obnoxious, and hog any spotlight he can find. Once someone gets to know him, though, they'll find that he's a fiercly loyal friend and is somewhat overprotective of those he cares about. ETA: Since he's from an AU!Verse, he won't be familiar to the other future!kids. Just thought I ought to mention it to be on the safe side

Next is this guy, Aaron Centrillion. In 2013, when he was five years old, he was adopted by Cinderella. He grew up learning all of the tricks of the trade in Lawrence, so while he's nowhere near as sly as his mother and couldn't be a spy any better than he could be an astrophysicist, he is a damn good hunter. Aaron is a bit of a player, but in spite of the stigma that comes with being that sort of a guy, he's actually very respectful both to his elders and to women, in general. He's aggressively protective of the women in his life, mainly because he grew up with a single mother. Those he holds dear to his heart are the world to him; he would take a bullet for a true friend and he'd throw a punch for someone too meek to do it themselves.

1. There are not any actual zombies in the basement of the hotel, in case anyone else thought there maybe might have been.
2. Brandon is cool, he taught me how to reset fuses. That is probably a useful life skill!
3. I just invented a new coffee flavor, and I need volunteers to test it. No diabetics, or people with heart problems. I will not be held responsible if you explode from the sheer gloriousness of it.
   
4. Patrick, can I kidnap birds from the pet store? I feel like I need a bird. Possibly ten of them.

One of the Shurley twins is having a vision or something... From the bits I gathered, it doesn't look good for us. Where can we find supplies and are you coming or am I going alone?

Around midnight tonight, Loki was suddenly hit with what he thought was possibly the solution to this whole barrier thing. He would have simply disappeared from the hotel room he's sharing with Darcy, and gone out to the trees.

Knowing that it had copied what he'd done against it, last time, he went in a little ways, probing around until he felt it pay attention to him. Then, he opened his mind. (This in itself probably felt weird/chilling to psychictypes, for all of like a minute.)

The barrier... did not copy him, like he'd expected it would have. Instead, it reached in and stole something. (...cue more pain for psychictypes).

Loki was then thrown out of the trees, unconscious.

A few minutes later, a second Loki emerged from the forest.

I'm going out. Jacob, patrol?
