So, we've had new episodes for a while now and there's been no discussion going on in this comm. Well after tonight, I figured we should have one..
There will Spoilers for 2.11 here and most likely in the comments Kenzai, Peter, Nathan, Matt, and Hiro -Hiro kept getting beaten by Peter. I expected a better fight scene between the two. -Matt's new found talent of forcing people to do what they wanted failed. Apparently Matt forgot Peter copies abilities. -I'm glad Nathan was able to talk some sense into Peter. Was anyone else chanting 'stop time’ as Peter rushed in and they cut to commercial? -Um, Hiro totally creepy what you did there with Kenzai. You've definitely been watching Kill Bill too many times. -As for the press conference ending, my only response can be: ......
Monica, Micah, and Nikki -Micah is just an awesome little technopath. -If I were Monica, I would go to my iPod full of tricks and see if there were anything on lock picking and freeing your hands from ropes. -Nikki - ;_; I didn't want her to go. Poor Micah
Claire, West, and the rest of the Bennet family -Claire continues with her plans to show the world that there are 'heroes' in it. Her mother tries to talk her out of it and fails. -West tries to talk her out of it and fails. He leaves. -Claire turns to Mr. Muggles for support and Mr. Muggles attempts to leave as well. -Bennet shows up and talks her out it, after making a deal with Bob. Hasn't the whole point of the Bennet's season so far been: The Company is bad, we can't trust the Company? I know he's doing it to protect his family and I'm going to wait for the double-crossing to begin.
Elle, Sylar, Maya, Mohinder, and Molly -Elle attempts to learn about her past by going to Bennet, which is smart of her. Bob busts her and stops us from getting more. -Maya finally learns the horrible truth of Sylar and gets shot. Thanks to Claire's blood that gets retconned quickly. Personally, she could have been one of the two that actually died and I wouldn't have missed her all that much. I'm just not attached to her as I am the others. Story wise, it makes sense for her to be one of them living. -Elle goes after Sylar, disobeying her father's no fieldwork policy. I'm not sure who to cheer for in a fight between the two. They're both bad guys, in my mind. Elle has more redeemable qualities, since father tortured her, but Sylar is just an awesome villain. -Sylar gets away and thanks to the blood sample he's stolen, come 2008 we have a fully powered Sylar on our hands. *is equally excited and creeped out*
Last year, Volume 1 was the whole first season. This year its just eleven episodes. Does anyone know why its so much shorter? Was it because of the Writer's Strike and they're not sure when they're going to start the next round of episodes? Or just because they finished the virus arc up?
Reactions to tonight’s episode? Speculation for Volume 3?
