Hello! This guy is moving to town tomorrow, so I guess I'd better give him a proper intro, eh? (Don't worry, I have a free block at work this week, I'm not neglecting the children or anything, I swear.) (Also, there are still a couple of blank spots on this month's plot post so someone should go and grab those, yo!)
ANYWAY. This is Henry. Henry is a Hit Wizard. He comes from a long line of DMLE folk, mostly Aurors, and is a descendant of Mnemone Radford, the first Obliviator. Henry is from Scotland (because he is PBed by DESMOND, how could he NOT BE SCOTTISH?) but he will be moving to town to head up the Orpington murder investigation because, as they proved with the Lavender fiasco, they clearly have their heads up their arses and need some very specific leadership. He'll be staying at the Salty Badger.
He will snoop on what you're writing in your journal, fair warning. But he is disarmingly charming and good at putting people at ease, so I expect people may forget to ward him out of things--let's hope so!
Henry is widower. His wife, an Auror, died in the Battle of Hogwarts and he is still very much mourning her/emotionally stunted over her death. He is kind of a workaholic. But he is also a dadoholic and devoted to his little girl, Daisy, who will be coming to town with him. Daisy will often steal her father's journal. She will also show up at places in town and introduce herself to people. "My name is Daisy Jane Radford, but you may call me Daisy. I'll be six next week."
So, yes, that is Henry and Daisy! Say hi and plot with them!
