Letter stories can go two ways - they can either hold you at arms length and just show you a story, or they can drag you in and get you engrossed in the unravelling of their tale.

This is definitely in the second category. And seeing it from the outside perspective of the boys' viewpoints added a lovely depth to the whole arc.

You pieced together a wonderful, moving H/D love story, wrapped around the canon/epilogue. So much pain and denial, while they try to do the 'right' thing.

The ending wove tighter and tighter, with a lovely inevitability, and a sweet finish!

Delightful!
