Certain Dark Things  - Chapter 16 (redux)

 

Okay, so, as I had mentioned on my LJ before, I decided to rework chapters 16-18 to age Harry up to 18 before things get too smexy. I'm caving to paranoia BUT I am actually pretty pleased with the results. So here is chapter 16 again.  A bit of it is old stuff - the first half of part one you've read before - Hermione joining the boys to live in Gryff tower. The second half of part one and all of part two are entirely new - Harry's 18th birthday. (BTW, I tried to put all of the new material into part two to make it simpler but LJ insisted the post was too large - I don't get how sometimes I can put 6000 words into a single post and other times 4000 words is "too large" - hmph!). I'm not planning on changing a lot about what comes after but I will highlight what I do change. Then (finally!) we'll move on to some new material! Huzzah!
Anyway, enjoy!
