Who: Tyler Summers & Sadie Capper
When: May 5 - late afternoon
Where: Lake
Summary: Talking and catching up by the lake. Sadie's boy troubles.
Rating: Low, said Flo Rida.
Tyler felt like he and Sadie had not talked to each other in a very long time, which was funny to think, considering they both live in the same house and are in the same year. But he was feeling really disconnected from his best friend. It seemed so much things suddenly happened to Sadie's life and he had to wonder where he was during those times. He wasn't proud on missing out on them, but now, this was his chance to catch up with Sadie. Not to mention the fact she seemed to be having some boy trouble. Tyler was no expert in relationships, but who better for Sadie to talk about these things other than Tyler himself?
Okay, maybe another girl.
But still, he was going to try and be there for Sadie, just like he always had before, the same way she had been for him. He was always going to be there for her though, even if they are no longer connected by a tree or by their balconies. It would be a lie for Tyler to say he wasn't nervous, because he was. He couldn't remember the last time he and Sadie had a heart-to-heart talk. It must be that long ago if he couldn't remember anymore. Regardless, this was his chance, and maybe her chance too, to patch the little holes in their friendship that the previous months had punctured. It was never too late.
Tyler was waiting by the lake, seated on a bench as he basked at the vastness of it all. The water had a way of calming him down, so he hoped he wouldn't be making a fool out of himself in front of Sadie, or stumble over his words just like he always did. But he was also confident that his terrible awkward pauses may be slowly disappearing thanks to his sudden gain of confidence.
He was anticipating Sadie showing up anything time soon, and was anticipating what she was going to tell him, because he was sure it was going to be a hell lot compared to what he had been up to.
