When Sadie reached out, he unhesitatingly took her hand into his. They've always done this before, supporting each other when one of them was going through rough times. A hand held always helped in easing nerves out even just a little, and whatever his best friend was going to say next, a firm grip on her hand may be needed, and that's what he did. "You can tell me. No judgment, remember?" He assured her with a smile.
As she talked, Tyler listened intently, his eyebrows arching up in question, confusion, and amusement. But there was also a hint of a frown on his face. He knew it was Vaisey who was bothering Sadie, at least in the journals, that much he knew. He didn't say anything, knowing that she could stand up for herself. She was a tough cookie like that, but sometimes a tough cookie could also crumble in heavy situations.
"I agree, it's not like you," Tyler said bluntly, not even holding back. "Whatever Vaisey is telling you, you shouldn't be listening or taking to heart. He doesn't know you like I do, or we do, or like Harry does. And even then, you know yourself best and only you know the truth about yourself. Don't let him get to you, Sades."
Honestly, he didn't know Vaisey well enough, but that was for good reason. He knew enough that he wasn't to be trusted and why Sadie was hanging around him, or just talking to him was boggling his mind.
