oh god.

the air. it's so fresh. so fresh and clean and unpolluted. even the SNOW is clean. who has CLEAN snow? my brief return to reality has reminded me that real snow is covered in dirt and angry car marks and dog piss. seriously, though - what EVEN IS this narnia-ass bullshit? this is not what actual life looks like, people.

oh, gooseberry. how i have missed your fresh, piney nonsense.

i just don't think that my lungs are prepared.

What if we are in the snowglobe and the giants are looking in on us?

[...]

Just kidding!

We had a really bad ice storm before Christmas and it knocked down a lot of trees and power lines. But the sheep looked really cute with snow on their wool!

yeah, see. that's the place that my thought-train was taking me. all along the proverbial track to giants earthquaking us in our tiny little snowglobe universe.

i imagine that sheep look cute all the time. they're just so FLUFFY and shit.

Maybe that's how earthquakes happen. Giants shaking or setting our snowglobe down too hard.

They do! They're always very cute. But they're especially cute when snowed on, or when they have snow around their faces and they act like they don't realize it. Or when the snow gets really deep and they tunnel through it and leave a little trail that the other sheep follow along. But it's really, really cute in the springtime when they get sheared and they look like they've been caught without their fluffy robe and pajamas on.

it's not entirely infeasible. i mean, there are people that believed that the world was supported on the back of a giant turtle. so. bring on the snowglobe theory.

okay, now i'm pretty sure that we actually need like 18 sheep. i have no idea where we will PUT these sheep. but we need them. they make tunnels.

(fyi the stories are just stories and ennis is gullible and thinks it's true)

My father used to tell me stories of whole islands on the backs of a family of giant turtles. A community of reclusive wizards live there and they shroud themselves in thick fog so nobody can find them.

We could put the sheep near the stables? But I think it's easier to take care of 18 rats? They're really cute too!! And they like playing in the snow.
