The Ogletrees live in a gated home on the outskirts of Philadelphia. The property is not unplottable, but there is security on the gates in the form of two bodyguards and assorted enchantments. Guests can either enter through here, or via the floo which brings them into a guest house on the estate. Tabitha comes to get whoever was arriving, because even the guests of the daughter of the house can't just waltz right on in!
Guests are then brought through the hallway towards the reception foyer. The Ogletrees hold several events a year here, and it is fully decked out for Christmas with garlands, sparkling fairy lights and a five-metre tall tree in the corner. A gift bag sits under it for each guest (including plus ones) containing things Tabitha has picked out. Think along the lines of an overnight toiletries bag, in case they forgot anything, with fancy hand-made products.
There is a selection of food laid out on the table which is magically replenished when stocks are low. A couple of staff members, wearing neat black outfits, are on hand to serve and mix drinks as requested. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available, but the former is mostly because a couple of Tabitha's father's MACUSA staff are here to work in the offices on the grounds. At least, that's the cover - everyone seems to know the Gooseberry kids enjoy a drink, and the staff look the other way unless someone becomes unwell or appears to be reckless with the family's belongings.
There are a number of possible venues if anyone wants to have a quieter conversation/to not dance etc. There's a smaller dining area, a smaller kitchen which Tabitha explains the family uses to make snacks or a quick drink, and a number of smaller meeting rooms and unlocked offices. The only rooms that are off-limits are Mr Ogletree's private office, Mr & Mrs Ogletree's master bedroom, and the staff kitchen, all of which are warded closed.
People who are staying overnight can sleep in any one of five guest bedrooms (each of which has an extra bed placed in for the night), on couches or in sleeping bags as they prefer - Tabitha explains this when greeting everybody and lets them pick their spot for the night when leaving their bags. The kids' rooms are unlocked and their close friends can share rooms with them as well. The guest bedrooms resemble the following in size and shape:
The house also has a cinema room, heated outdoor pool and gardens decorated for the season.
