HUNGER GAMES PLANNING AND REQUESTS
Hey everyone! Tomorrow I'll be composing the list(s) of targets and kills that will take place for this minigame. The winner won't be announced until next Saturday, the 18th. Monday through Friday, I'll be posting a new batch of who was killed, and who the survivors' next targets are. The first lists will be posted Monday morning, when your character will find their plastic butterknife in their locker.

This post is for you to make requests. Please keep in mind this will mostly be random, but I can attempt to create certain match-ups if RNG is cooperative. (For instance, if RNG kills Clem, and Cameron really wants Ulysses to do the murdering, I'll try to arrange that. On the other hand, if Ulysses is killed before I can make that happen or I just can't get the Clem-knife in his hands, the request cannot be filled.)

So...

  • Is there someone you want your character to kill?

  • Is there someone you would prefer they be killed by if they die?

  • Are there any combinations you'd rather NOT have happen to your character?

  • The list of participants is here!

Chris can verify this. Cecil is like a brick wall.

okay but katie, i want that to happen again. i want chris to run smack into cecil and fall on his ass again. it doesn't even matter if he's actually trying to kill levi.

And also, since detention was today. Chris spent the entire detention without complaint, even though he is currently missing the last gooseberry practice before the game, but he spent it trying to make it less terrifying for Ivy possibly started singing army songs while washing dishes probably didn't seem especially tortured, because he doesn't mind manual labor, and he likes the house elves so he's not gonna snub his nose up at doing what they have to do on the regular, but there's probably no other task Cecil could've given him that he'd mind he's had a lot of detentions. But he also probably pulled Cecil aside after the detention was over to apologize to him, because if he and Ivy hadn't pulled that totally not malicious prank on Casey, Cecil wouldn't of had to give anybody detention, so he apologized for making Cecil waste his saturday morning.

then he went back to his cabin and took a nap and has no part in jeffy's post because the joke is dead, you guys, it's dead, stop reminding people to be pissed at Chris. no srsly you guys can keep going it's fine

Okay. Soooo. I'll respond to all of this, but IMPORTANT BIT FIRST. The overlap with Quidditch wasn't intentional. :( I'm sorry!! I didn't realize there was practice at that time or I wouldn't have picked breakfast. Is there a schedule or something? We could maybe move it to lunch or dinner?

The 'making students miss things' form of detention really isn't supposed to come out unless (a) something BAD has gone down or (b) there's repeat offenses going on.

I considered it fine, because clem was gonna make Chris sit out anyway. Since the day before it was posted, he literally almost died and spent the night in the infirmary. So she was like 'you done kid, the next time you get killed, it's gonna be during a game'.

(also Katie, coppertale has their quidditch practice every saturday morning. Gooseberry has literally no schedule, I have no idea when any of this shit is happening. When chris was captain, their main day was sunday mornings, but this last week, I've just assumed they're practicing every day. saturday was the only day clem specified (I think)) (But I also assumed the jeffy was referencing chris legitimately dying because chris didn't attend the practice. That was me rationalizing Jeffy's heartfelt concern)

Cecil wouldn't know that, though? Since Chris kept that to himself, didn't he? So in scheduling the detention at that time it would've intentionally conflicted with practice. Which shouldn't be the case.

Aaaand they sure do. I had detention from 9AM to 11AM and their practice starts at 10:30AM. My mistake.

I GIVE UP, ROZ.

I guess it's too late to fix it if there's a post referencing it. >_< So I'll just try to not be stupid next time.

I KNOW I'M SORRY KATIE

he did keep that to himself. and if chris wasn't trying to actively not be combative, he also would've pointed out quidditch practice to cecil, but he's second guessing how people perceive him so he was like 'no it's fine'.

(next time I'll tell you.)

(there won't be a next time Katie)

Oh, Cecil 100% knows when Quidditch practice is. I just messed it up. :( That's the shitty part. I'll just have to find some way to justify it. Or not. I don't know.

(Cecil wants to believe that SO MUCH.)

if this was literally any other character, you could just be like 'well he was feeling spiteful' but it's cecil.

(he's gone two days without pissing anyone off, he's on a roll. he needs like a board like in the office, '2 days since nonsense' I don't have the gif for that...)

Haha! Right? Casper would absolutely do that because he was like...having a bad day or something. But alas, not Cecil.

SO IMPRESSED. KEEP THAT MOMENTUM GOING.

so yeah, cecil got a sincere apology because chris will make fun of diego and levi for dreading cecil's look, but he lowkey feels it too.

OKAY. RIGHT. RESPONDING TO THE REST OF THE ABOVE NOW.

Chris can absolutely run smack into Cecil again. And fall on his ass. Cecil will feel terrible (again)! You okay, Chris??? D:

As to detention, Cecil appreciates that Chris didn't complain and that he accepted the punishment. And he's hoping that this means he understands why he received it. He probably tried to be appropriately serious and keep his distance a little, since this was detention, buuuut he definitely smiled at the singing and everything and was generally his nice, polite self. It was also very hard for him to stand there and not help. Soooo against his nature. He felt a little awkward.

Aaaand Chris' apology was appreciated. But if he called it a 'totally not malicious' prank, they probably ended up having a talk about how Chris' actions impact other people and etc. etc. even if he doesn't think they're malicious and how when the other person is hurt by what you're doing it isn't a joke anymore. SO. Wording of that apology might be important.

Aaaand Cecil keeps hearing that he has a Look. But it's not intentional. XD

lmao chris did not call it a totally not malicious prank, even tho he totally views it like that. He understands that regardless of their intentions, and regardless of how he personally feels about casey, and regardless of how funny it was, somebody did get hurt, so he accepts that consequences had to happen. he respects cecil, so cecil would've gotten a genuine apology instead of a halfassed one. tho if cecil did slip at all and accidentally try to help, chris would've also told him that he's not supposed to. like what are you even doing Honeybee, go sit down, just watch the show.

I think chris is just worried that Cecil is gonna start viewing him as a lost cause over some dumb shit.

SO ROZ. Jumping back up to an earlier part of the conversation...do you mind if we handwave Cecil ICly consulting Chris and Ivy about their schedules on Thursday before he made the detention schedule? Because that would actually remove the issue and it would make waaaaay more sense for Cecil ICly. I WILL BE BETTER ABOUT SCHEDULES IN THE FUTURE, I PROMISE.

Aaaand that's good. ;) He avoided the mini-lecture, then. Cecil does appreciate that Chris seems to understand the problem and that he seemed to mean what he said, but...he does definitely struggle with how he sees Chris whenever things like this happen. Because, after all the heart to hearts they had and all the times Chris was a good friend to him, Cecil thought of him as a person with a good heart and a rough exterior. But when he does things like this or goes after people...that doesn't fit. And when they have conversations about it afterward and he thinks they've come to an understanding, only for things like this to keep happening, it's difficult for him to understand. He doesn't think Chris is a lost cause, but...it has an impact on how he sees him. :(

And Cecil tried to not help. HE JUST REALLY WANTED TO, OKAY. But the mental image of Cecil like...staaaarting to come over to give one of them a hand with something and Chris being like: 'Hey. Honeychurch. Sit down.' is cute and it makes me laugh.

I'm totally fine with handwaving it.

And I think Chris is starting to realize that his friends are starting to view him differently every time he fucks up after Wilde made him realize that he's been a bit of a bully to him, because Chris had never viewed himself as a bully before. Like Chris doesn't care about getting in trouble Bc he's not dating Cecil, but Cecil has been there for him, so he doesn't wanna tarnish Cecil's opinion of him. Or Ty's. Or hazels. Etc. Plus ever since he got his captain badge taken away, he's been paranoid about what he says. He's still ashamed about losing that over some dumb shit. So hopefully this all will make Chris slow down and stop escalating shit and stop being a douche.
