What do they look for in a person?: Are you a book? What she looks for in a person is them being a literal book.

OK but srsly tho, intelligence and drive are #1 and #2, respectively. She's a STRONG INDEPENDENT WOMAN and she's got no time for you if you aren't going places of your own.

A hefty appreciation of irony also helps. And she absolutely could never fall for anyone who didn't see her as a person first and a woman second, if that makes any sense (it does to her.)

Hold your own in a debate and she'll probably be a little into you. Shh.
What do they find romantic?: ~Study dates in the Library~ mostly. Mocking others via the power of sarcasm? BUY HER OLD BOOKS, SHE'LL BE INTO THAT. His Girl Friday style constant repartee?

Honestly, she doesn't know. Romance doesn't hold much appeal for her (though if that train ever hits her, it will hit her HARD and she will have no idea what to do with herself and she will HATE herself for SUDDENLY LIKING FLOWERS WTF SAIRA.)

After some thought I've decided that while she would initially find spontaneity quite distressing, as long as it didn't actually ruin her schedule or make her fail a project or something, in the end being ~whisked away~ from said obsessive schedule for a date of some sort would be quite romantic to her, provided a lot of thought was put into it by the whisker.

Who do they have a crush on?: No. She says no.
I kind of figure she had a little bit of a crush on Rafael at some point, but she's over it by now because she's not gonna pine over a gay man. Other that, she's in my head right now screaming that she doesn't have time for that and she's not penciling 'flirt with a boy' into her schedule. ~~I'm penciling it in there for her.~~

Are they seeing someone right now?: Noooo.

What are they like in a relationship?: N/A since she's never had one, but there is NO DOUBT that she would be like "we can spend half an hour walking by the lake on April 10th. See you then." That being said, when she prioritizes something, she prioritizes it hard, so if she actually got into a relationship with someone, she'd make time. Scheduled time, yes, but time. She's very bossy, sorry boys, and dry, and it's extremely tough to get at the gooey center she swears isn't there...but if you got there, you'd be in for life.
Anything else?: You guys know Gilmore Girls? Saira is basically Paris Geller when it comes to romance, I think. And just...every day life. I didn't even realize that til just now, shit, and I've been comparing her to Hermione for all this time.
