Love is in the air and Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and we all love shipping nonsense so, I mean, why beat around the bush? Use this meme to talk ships and romance and maybe you'll even find your characters a Valentine. 💘

What do they look for in a person?: Cleverness and skill. Be better than her at stuff. More than any particular physical feature or exact sort of attitude, Roxanne likes being intrigued and she likes when people are genuinely interested in things. Especially when they're things she isn't good at. She enjoys listening to people talk passionately about things that they like. Not necessarily to the point of cockiness - though that isn't strictly a turn off - but be proud of the things you excel at and she'll be proud of them too. And will mercilessly prod you into doing them better. That's what you're supposed to do, right?

She likes teasing and wordplay and banter. Isn't one to out-and-out fight, but doesn't want someone who will refuse to argue with her entirely just because they like her. Liking her doesn't make her right, dummkopf. And it won't make the other person right either. So tell her when she's being dumb. Because she'll very probably tell you. And chances are very high that being told she's an idiot will just make her laugh.

What do they find romantic?: Roxie's ideas of romance come from a strange mix of textbook and completely off the wall. Her parents are revoltingly sweet on each other: her father thinks her mother hung the moon for him personally, and her mother uses 'my love' more than she ever uses her father's name. On the other hand, her aunt professionally throws knives at her husband, the mermaid tends to suggest enchanting young men and keeping them (impractical and rude; don't try this), and the acromantula still writes bitter poetry about the spider that rejected him (it's been years, Claudius - and eating someone's mate won't put you in their good graces).

Personally, she likes to think she's pretty simple to figure out. She doesn't expect or want very much. Someone who wants her around, sure. But not someone who needs her around. At it's most basic, Roxie wants to be something that someone likes, not an obligation or a novelty. (Chances are strong that she's been a novelty before. It probably ended in someone being decked. Someone wasn't her.)

Who do they have a crush on?: Nothing concrete. But she thinks Reece is clever and she wants to ruffle his hair up. She enjoys the heck out of sarcastically bantering with Wilde. On a purely aesthetic level, Kenzie would look gorgeous under stage lights. And Reid parkouring up the interior of the Lodge was pretty A+, she's not gonna lie.

She has, very probably, nursed something of one on most of her teammates at one point or another. But they're idle things that stem from the affection of actually having people around for more than six months before moving away and never talking to them again. Would she consider it? Sure, why not. They're all attractive and she knows that she likes them, at the very least, but it isn't anything pressing. She's much happier with having friends. It's nice. Friendship: 10/10, would recommend.

Are they seeing someone right now?: Nope.

What are they like in a relationship?: A lot like she is with her friends, really. (But probably with more making out?) Affectionate, but not showy. She prefers to keep her demonstrations quiet, at least in public, but she definitely enjoys them. Roxie likes giving presents and the absentminded sort of kissing hello/goodbye that she sees from her parents. (It's obvious, yes. But not pushy. And that's the sort of middle-ground where she's most comfortable.) She likes to take care of people, but prefers to do it unobtrusively. And she thinks that it's important to remind people that she wants them around, but she isn't trying to shout it at everyone. As long as the other person knows, she's content with it.

For the most part, Roxie's a very patient person - but she also wants to shove you in the arm, link fingers, and drag you off to do something stupid. Like climbing up trees and hanging upside down until your brain feels like it's swimming in your head. She loves your stuff, absolutely wants to do your stuff, but her stuff is important too. (So, c'mon! She'll show you how to juggle knives. The knives will be unsharpened. The first few times.) She isn't exactly reckless - or she isn't exactly reckless by her family's standards - but she runs on sort of strange and kind of questionable. And, more than anything, she wants someone who doesn't mind that. Because she won't change it for you.

Anything else?: Not something she'd use on someone she actually likes, because that's rude and disingenuous, but she's a very good shill. This used to work by being wide-eyed and adorable when younger, but has matured into blatantly flirting to get people to cough up money. She'd run a honeypot like nobody's business.
