What do they look for in a person?: People who will give him attention? Lmao.
Really though, I think he likes the quintessential bookish/smart girl archetype kinda. Someone who thinks for herself, knows things, can impress him but doesn't care about impressing him, doesn't care what people think. Someone he actually likes talking to -- that's probably the biggest thing? If he can stand to be around you and not have to duck away awkwardly to go be alone and recharge like with everyone else, that's like Numero Uno. He's also drawn to creativity and interest in "the strange," however practiced it is.

If you asked him, he'd probably say something obnoxious like "I just want someone who's authentic." In a perfect world, he'd have a girlfriend he could vent to about anything, show all his dumb writing, and who would show interest and help him become a better and MORE AUTHENTIC PERSON himself.

What do they find romantic?: A lot of things, actually. He's secretly quite intense about crushes after a certain point (I mean, hi poetry book) and would melt over having the same kind of attention fired back at him. Like. Use of creativity and time to express feelings for HIM? That shit is the best. Also your standard stuff, to a certain extent -- spending all your time together, holding hands, secret little smiles and note-passing, long walks in the woods (JUST KIDDING), sharing food, reading books out loud, blah blah. All of these things would make Wilde's entire life, but he definitely pretends he doesn't care about them.

Who do they have a crush on?: Oh god ugh. Yeah, yeah. He's been staring at Saira in class a little bit, probably noticeably engaging her in discussions, looking to see if she's around all the time, etc. Like. The standard I-like-you-but-don't-want-to-admit-it-so-I'll-just-bug-you teenage boy bullshit. It's silently killing him inside.

He also has weird crushes/some degree of attraction toward Roxanne and Ariadne, and maybe Penny a little.
Are they seeing someone right now?: Lol
What are they like in a relationship?: At first, probably very demonstrative and weird. Like. Let me show you how cool and smart and amazing I am. Maybe a bit detached, showy. Watch me do x y z. Let's dissect this stupid film together. He's extremely cautious about really "opening his heart" (puuuke) so definitely doesn't really let the walls come down -- at least not quickly, at least not with everyone. There'd probably be a balancing act of getting to know/trust eachother and letting him "be his own person" and figure his shit out or whatever. There's a way he thinks he should act in these cases that isn't representative of his actual real nature, so -- I guess Wilde would need time to learn how to love someone and really BE there.

As an actual person giving his actual all in an actual relationship, super committed and warm, maybe somewhat idealizing. Like "let's make a secret world together" feelings. Us against everyone else, your issues become his issues. I think he'd do anything for people he genuinely cares for, romantic or otherwise, and there's probably a side of him that only someone he's in love with would ever get to see. SO. Hope you enjoy becoming the symbol of everything good in the world to him, because that's kinda inevitable, yet also having to endure some bickering and posturing FOREVER.
