What do they look for in a person?:

Assholes. Which LMFAO ROSY THAT’S SUCH A STEREOTYPE, but I don’t mean someone who’s mean to her. Just Rosy is also an asshole and if she ever dated a sweet fluffy marshmallow Ribbonfishy she would either never be herself, or she would eat them alive. Idealists need not apply.

Sense of humor. But also don’t be too much funnier than her. Being a sarcastic grump is kind of Rosy’s thing ok don't you fucking outshine her.

Someone who can take care of their own damn self. This isn’t to say that she won’t take care of you, but she will not mother her significant other. That is an easy recipe for Too Weird.

Not a Dumbass. ~~Until you get knocked up with twins when you’re like 22 and find yourself getting married to just a set of abs.~~

Okay but kind of an idiot still. She tends to overthink so much that she likes someone who can just be like, “Well this looks like fun, looks like you can take the night off brain.”
What do they find romantic?: LIKE ROSY KNOWS ROMANTIC. She’s actually going to need to be reminded of Valentine’s Day and then she won’t know if she’s supposed to get Chris anything or if they’re just ignoring it because they’re cynical butthead nerds. She mostly thinks it’s romantic if you… think of her? Or surprise her? Surprise her by going, “I was not in your presence and I thought of you,” and she will do that weird choking/blushing thing again, oh my god wow way to keep those expectations low, Ro.
Who do they have a crush on?: Rosy hates that Casey is so fucking hot and that she once spent an entire day aggressively making out with him and his abs.
Are they seeing someone right now?: WHY YES, YES SHE IS, IN CASE YOU HAVEN’T HEARD. She and Chris are now able to use their words to work things out without first being “anonymously” instigated to do something. So it’s going… better than expected? When Rosy first developed a small crush on Chris she was like, “Oh god, this is a bad idea, everyone knows he sleeps around and he’s into Levi, and also he’s on Sy’s team, this could turn out just terribly. YOU REPRESS THAT SHIT ROSEMARY IT’S A BAD IDEA.” But, hormones?? And then she “anonymously” bullied him into asking her to a dance??? Then it stopped being a small crush and she was in too deep, she couldn’t back out now.
Rosy is still waiting for things to go really off the rails. She really likes Chris and that’s mildly terrifying to her, because Rosy has trust issues and a violent angry tumor that grew so big they sorted it and made it Quidditch Captain, and that violent angry tumor has the same trust issues. She tries not to let it show so much how much she likes being around Chris, but she’s so not as good at hiding her emotions as she thinks, so when he comes in the room she lights up and smiles and gets all butterflies in her stomach and sadfashshgiprp she doesn’t know how to handle it.
Buuuut she’s starting to accept that she can occasionally let her guard down around Chris? and he’s not going to use it to hurt her?? (though also in the back of her mind is the thought that if she lets him find out her weaknesses and then they break up he can definitely use that against her), and she’s kind of relaxing into this idea of having a boyfriend and she likes it.
Even if she really has no fucking clue what she’s doing.
What are they like in a relationship?:

She’s more physically affectionate than you might expect, considering she doesn’t want people up in her personal space much usually. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to be close to people, it just means she sucks at it.

Possibly always on the lookout for something awful to happen and might be always ready for a fight.

Actually pretty good about Not Being a Weird Mom (Girl)friend. She would appreciate it if Chris didn’t get killed or expelled, but she doesn’t feel like she needs to be mothering him and telling him to stop being an idiot and don’t go camping and get eaten by ghost bears in the woods. Because the fact that he’s an idiot is one of the things that she likes most about him, goddammit rosemary.

Anything else?: I have a headcanon where the first boy she ever kissed was some nice boy at some big fancy dancy party when she was like 13 and then almost immediately afterwards he saw Sy out of the corner of his eye and disappeared and she was like, “Oh ok fuck you, now I’m gonna make sure he gets a death by Stoker.” Which I think means she was like “hey sy go deck this douche” instead of doing it herself so she wouldn’t chip a nail. But basically what I’m saying is fuck these guys.

and lmao that headcanon. SY IS JUST KEEPING AN EYE OUT OK HE'S NOT GOING TO FIGHT ANYONE. WHY DO PEOPLE ALWAYS ASSUME HE'S GOING TO FIGHT THEM just because he stands nearby with his arms crossed, glowering at whichever boy is flirting with rosy. and also that he regularly reminds rosy that he will gladly punch any boy she wants him to. and also that time when they were 13 and he punched out this perfectly nice boy because she told him to. but still

rosy stoker headcanon primer

alex and i have rosy/casey headcanon that involves:

- them sleeping together ONE TIME somewhere between 18-22, the earlier the better
- which knocks rosy up with twins
- they have a shotgun wedding
- the twins turn out to be TOTAL MENACES (pronounce like "menses") and nobody is surprised
- rosy hates her life forever, the end.

shotgun wedding includes:
- casey trying to convince rosy that this is a legit tuxedo
- sy punching casey in the face
- reid hanging around outside as a swan and giving no fux

i'm not sure where this fits in with my own headcanon of casey seeing magic mike and becoming an exotic dancer. TBD.
