Wanted lines! Time to plot! Time passes so quickly it ceases to hold any meaning for me! Take this as an opportunity to discuss character development, and talk about lines you might want to build with one another.

lmao i'm still typing chris's bc i'm indecisive as fuck and i read yours because reading new additions to this post is what helps maintain me being indecisive as fuck

and i was thinking 'ya know, it'd be hilarious if chris got protective of this team, because this is his team HE IS IN CHARGE OF THIS these are his babies' even tho half of them are seniors and probably older than him, i just want him to check in on them like that weird parent going 'how's everybody doing in here, need anything?'

it's true tho. chris DOES feel a little protective of random hockey players like hazel. even tho she was the enemy last game.

i just want him to feel protective over super random people he's never given a shit about before. like leo and jeffy. and etta (even tho he totally likes you etta). I want him to be the mom at the grotto party going 'you better not get shit faced, we got early practice tomorrow, drink your water'.

Lyss is right, Sy didn't want to care about anyone but once he became captain these weird protective feelings snuck up on him. Like he was upset about not making first string but those feelings were undercut by how proud he was that Chris, Reid and Ana made it, and Chris was made captain

but getting cut from the team after the first game because you fucking failed? That'd be worse than not making the team at all

and even worse is that he's the captain, if they win or fail falls on him. it doesn't matter if the players are shit (which they're not). if they fail, it's because he's a failure

IT'S WEIRDLY SWEET THAT CHRIS ACTUALLY... THINKS OF SY AS HIS CAPTAIN? earning people's respect is not something sy ever expected i mean you can see by the way he kept bitching about people not respecting him every time he said something terrible and his team was like "lol sy." i think it's sort of surprised sy that he's stumbled into this position where his team actually listens to him and he actually cares a lot about how well they do, outside of winning. i mean they still give each other shit but it wouldn't be coppertale otherwise

i love the copperteam dynamic a lot, their ways of communicating with each other might be unconventional but they're really bonded :( i mean ok mostly bonded over wanting to see the opposing team bleed but BONDED IS BONDED

...also this is still under leo's thread I'M SO SORRY LEO LMAO but fyi i think sy's feelings towards chris has defrosted a lot after ptc? not because of anything chris has done directly, but i think sy is starting to see that rosy really cares about chris and he's mostly been good to her. :( sy's always going to be READY TO FIGHT because... it's rosy, but he's coming around to accepting that chris is a part of rosy's life that's not going anywhere :|a

I think it took chris a minute for sy to actually earn his actual respect because sy wasn't his captain last year and sy is a year younger? But now when Chris defends sy on the anonymous post (and lbr, he wasn't very anonymous about it), he's not faking it for unity, he legitimately respects Sy. And it has nothing to do with rosy lol i feel like that's necessary to say.

This is such a shit year for Sy, and that's a shit way to start your first year as captain, and chris feels that. And he really respects the way Sy does his practices.

Like i just love how drastically different all these teams turned out. Because coppertale is willing to die on this pitch with their five million practices, and they communicate by insulting eachother and i just love it so much.

(also like two nights ago when rosy went over to Sy's to critique his comma splicing and chris tagged along, chris totally didn't make it weird for sy, he literally just lounged around and probably took a nap on Sy's bed OR WHERE EVER THEY HUNG OUT MAYBE THEY HUNG OUT IN THE BLANKET FORTE I DUNNO and then he walked rosy back to ribbonfin)

first practice, chris definitely made them all run laps

just to spite quinn who stopped him from making everybody run laps in hockey boot camp.

what does laps have to do with a sport done in the air? why don't you figure that out while you give me ten more laps

so if anybody wants to mention that sunday when they have their first practice. Yall ran some laps just because chris has the power now. (I promise chris is gonna take this seriously after personally spiting quinn)
