HI THERE. My name is Jenny. I am absolutely a human and not a sentient neural network comprised of tumblr porn bots and smart refrigerators. I am freshly 31 and a professional intern wrangler and technology facilitator for physicians. I like cats, video games, making gifs and Sameer Gadhia's delicious voice, which is like the voice version of hair in a shampoo commercial.

I will be playing senior Ribbonfin meathead, Xavier Lewis. These creaky old bones are 8 years out of practice for online RP, so I appreciate your patience while I remember how to interact with other people. I AM REALLY EXCITED TO GET STARTED. Here are some KEWL FACTS about Xavier:

+ Zav is a mathematical genius. He is...not so great at most other things. But, by golly, if you need some large integers quickly calculated by a human being instead of a calculator, he's your man.
+ He is in the following classes: Hermeticism, History of Magic, Potions, Transfiguration, Astronomy, Magical Rudiments, Animagus Studies (Pangolin), Independent Study - Arithmancy
+ He is in the following clubs: Quidditch (Reserve); Boating; LARP; Dueling & Fencing; Gaming
+ He is constantly sustaining serious injuries because he is clumsy, distracted and not just danger prone but, like, idk, consciously re-enacting that "Dumb Ways to Die" video from Australia's transit authority.
+ He is originally from Huntington, WV but currently resides in Long Island, NY. He has an Appalachian accent. If you listen to any of the MBMBAM podcasts, Justin is the most likely to swing into it.
+ His mother is the MACUSA representative for WVA and she is A SHARK. Figuratively. His dad is basically a wizard CPA. He has a little sister named Nisha and he is pretty sure he hasn't actually seen her face in 5 years because it is always glued to a phone screen.
+ He is always eating.
+ Personality-wise, Xavier would make a good stand in for Pauly Shore in an 80s teen movie. He is very nice, fun loving, eccentric, a bit of an airhead and easy to manipulate. A little bit of a doormat.

JUST SOME PLOT THOUGHTS:
+ Xavier gets some amount of tutoring in every class but Transmutation (and Animagus Studies), so if anyone is interested in being a tutor...TADA.
+ I mentioned in Xavier's history that he has "found himself in relationships" via having an inability to say no to people and then was immediately completely miserable so it probably fell apart within a week. Suuuper fun, I know. If anyone is interested, let me know.
+ Xavier has been campaigning since September for a "Senior Jorts Day" in the spring, where all the seniors wear the top halves of their uniform as normal but also wear jorts (preferably cut off with the pockets dangling out of course). He keeps calling it "The THIGHlight of the year."

HELLO! WELCOME! WARNING: It's late and I was just had to drive for so long, so if this makes me sound dumb, let's factor that in a little please. THANK YOU. ANYWAY Hi! I'm Lyss and I have three here.

THIS ONE is Adeline Foster-Hayes, she's an Azurcrest Junior from Richmond VA . Her parents are each from really fancy families; her mom on the magic side, her dad on the muggle side, but Addy is the opposite of fancy. She loves Potions, parties, not listening to rules, adopting people who are probably perfectly capable of taking care of themselves, neon wardrobes, and textspeak on journals. She's very friendly and warm but she will totally yell at people if they need it. She will inevitably like Xavier a lot and talk at him even if it's annoying and not be sorry.

Then I have [info]challenge, and that's Leonardo Fiori. He's a senior, and the Ebonhide Quidditch captain. He's from Jersey City. Leo's a competitive asshole, and obsessively dedicated to Proving Himself in everything he touches, with the ultimate goal of being an Auror. When he's not trying to compete or achieve something, though, he can be a good coach and level-headed influence, and even manages Social and Charming sometimes. He has several classes, including Animagus studies with Xavier! He can turn into an alligator snapping turtle and has been able to do so since last month. It's useless but whatever. Leo doesn't generally bother with troublemakers unless they're on his Quidditch team, but if he figured out Xavier was smarter than he seemed, he would encourage this quietly and be generally respectful anyway. Maybe he is/was a tutor either now or in the past with something? Along with stuff Xavier's very good at, they overlap in History and Potions?

My third is Ferdinand Ayers over at [info]ferdies. He's the Junior Ribbonfin Prefect so yay same house. HIS mom was at some point years ago a reporter who basically Rita Skeeter'ed MACUSA with no-maj bugs instead of Animagus bugs. But then they found her out, and it was a whole thing, and now they live in Chicago and she's obsessed with her son being hated by MACUSA kids at his fancy new school. Ferdinand doesn't care about those warnings at all, and engages in the most lawful acts of rebellion in the whole world. Anyway.He's a very logical prefect, and if he spoke any louder, he'd be such a smartass. He will definitely have taken points from Xavier in the past I am sure, and he's not super outgoing, but he'll be friendly just as a Ribbonfin~

Xavier and Addie will totally get along. :] If Leo has tutored Zav in Potions in the past, that could give them cause to be more familiar with each other! Zav is pretty outgoing and chill and his troublemaking tends to be more self-destructive (with frequent inadvertent surrounding fallout), so they would probably get along, generally?

Xavier is a MACUSA kid that has specifically been targeted by the press in the past because his mother used to drag him around and show him off for being "gifted" but then he kept struggling in school and acting out and became an embarrassment. This was generally at the local level and not huge news, so I'm betting Ferdinand's mom was way more interested in high level stuff, but Zav may still be a bit wary of him.
