HI THERE. My name is Jenny. I am absolutely a human and not a sentient neural network comprised of tumblr porn bots and smart refrigerators. I am freshly 31 and a professional intern wrangler and technology facilitator for physicians. I like cats, video games, making gifs and Sameer Gadhia's delicious voice, which is like the voice version of hair in a shampoo commercial.

I will be playing senior Ribbonfin meathead, Xavier Lewis. These creaky old bones are 8 years out of practice for online RP, so I appreciate your patience while I remember how to interact with other people. I AM REALLY EXCITED TO GET STARTED. Here are some KEWL FACTS about Xavier:

+ Zav is a mathematical genius. He is...not so great at most other things. But, by golly, if you need some large integers quickly calculated by a human being instead of a calculator, he's your man.
+ He is in the following classes: Hermeticism, History of Magic, Potions, Transfiguration, Astronomy, Magical Rudiments, Animagus Studies (Pangolin), Independent Study - Arithmancy
+ He is in the following clubs: Quidditch (Reserve); Boating; LARP; Dueling & Fencing; Gaming
+ He is constantly sustaining serious injuries because he is clumsy, distracted and not just danger prone but, like, idk, consciously re-enacting that "Dumb Ways to Die" video from Australia's transit authority.
+ He is originally from Huntington, WV but currently resides in Long Island, NY. He has an Appalachian accent. If you listen to any of the MBMBAM podcasts, Justin is the most likely to swing into it.
+ His mother is the MACUSA representative for WVA and she is A SHARK. Figuratively. His dad is basically a wizard CPA. He has a little sister named Nisha and he is pretty sure he hasn't actually seen her face in 5 years because it is always glued to a phone screen.
+ He is always eating.
+ Personality-wise, Xavier would make a good stand in for Pauly Shore in an 80s teen movie. He is very nice, fun loving, eccentric, a bit of an airhead and easy to manipulate. A little bit of a doormat.

JUST SOME PLOT THOUGHTS:
+ Xavier gets some amount of tutoring in every class but Transmutation (and Animagus Studies), so if anyone is interested in being a tutor...TADA.
+ I mentioned in Xavier's history that he has "found himself in relationships" via having an inability to say no to people and then was immediately completely miserable so it probably fell apart within a week. Suuuper fun, I know. If anyone is interested, let me know.
+ Xavier has been campaigning since September for a "Senior Jorts Day" in the spring, where all the seniors wear the top halves of their uniform as normal but also wear jorts (preferably cut off with the pockets dangling out of course). He keeps calling it "The THIGHlight of the year."

OKAY I HAVE RAMBLED ENOUGH. I'M OUT.

oh god I can't believe it's been like eight years since I've talked to you. i'm crying. but yes hello ♥jenny♥ I'm Marin, I'm a mod and I just drank a glass of wine~~~ And I have four characters:

Ravinder Dhaliwal (

paladins), Ribbonfin senior prefect. Ravi tries to be very Nice and Well-Behaved and Responsible and fusses over all the Ribbonfins like he's their fish dad. He's also secretly goofy and very intensely into LARP and fantasy novels. AND HE'S IN XAVIER'S CABIN!!! AND THEY'RE IN LARP TOGETHER!!! And Zav no what are you doing now, ARE YOU TRYING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED. Ravi probably loves Xavier but also his blood pressure is constantly through the roof from all the times he's had to carry him to the infirmary or worry over whether or not he's keeping up in his classes or if anyone's being mean to him. :CCC Ravi might be... a little overbearing, especially since Zav has trouble telling someone to back off, but he's well-meaning, at least? Ravi does a pretty silly sense of humour if you get him to loosen up. Other things: they were Horned Serpents in the same year! They're both Indian (Ravi is Indian Punjabi, but still)! (Ravi supports all of your hopes and dreams but he does not support Senior Jorts Day. I'm sorry.)

Wilhelmina Tran (

resentfully), Ebonhide senior. Mina is an abrasive drama queen who rules Event Committee with an iron fist; she's more sensitive than she lets on but most people won't ever realize that because Mina doesn't believe in showing weakness. If Diego and Zav are bros, then most likely Mina's never had much of a high opinion of him. Mina and Diego's relationship is starting to get better, but she dislikes people who are messy/disorganized/tacky. On the other hand, she LOVES people she can steamroll into doing whatever she wants. (OK I know I just said she never liked him but... Past dating possibility???) They'll know each other from Animagus Studies and Duelling!

Sylvester Stoker (

stokers), Coppertale junior, Quidditch captain and Chaser. Sy is a hyper-competitive alpha male douchebag who swears and fights a lot and hits on girls obnoxiously, but he can be kind of fun if you're a really tolerant person. I'm not 100% sure how Zav might click with him? I imagine Sy's aggression probably has just made him clam up and he avoids Sy...?

Micah St. Clair (

auteur), Azurcrest sophomore, Quidditch reserve. Micah is an aspiring film director with abysmal taste in movies; he's exciteable, talkative, never seems to take anything seriously, and sometimes has a poor sense of boundaries. He'd be friendly to Xavier because he's friendly to everyone. Micah is ALWAYS DOWN for encouraging stupid ideas (if your life is an episode of Jackass, Micah's your cameraman), and he thinks literally all of the seniors are super cool. XAVIER IS THE COOLEST BECAUSE HE CAN DO MATH AND BACKFLIPS KIND OF. Micah has no taste whatsoever.

~GOOD MORNING~ WHERE DID THE TIME GO???

UHM HELLO DADVINDER DADLIWAL Xavier is here to be your most disappointing son and he loves you very much. Based on the fact that they have so many overlapping clubs and classes and a shared history back to Ilvermorny I am sure they are good friends!! Ravi is exactly the sort of having-it-together person that Zav would look up to. Xavier probably tries to bring Ravi over to the dark side from time to time (the dark side being the side that does questionable things in the names of SCIENCE! and FUN!) although I am sure Ravi is always like "No Xavier slip n' slides should not have ramps, nor should they be indoors." HE CAN BE THE CHAOTIC SORCERER TO RAVI'S LAWFUL PALADIN.

Zav is probably terribly intimidated by Mina and would absolutely be an easy target for being steamrolled. The fact that she probably finds him distasteful makes it worse, so if she ever does seek him out for her own purposes he would fall over himself trying to at least make her not look at him with ANGRY DISGUST EYEBROWS. Mina if you ever need boxes schlepped, Zav is your man. I'm going to go ahead and check her off as a "no" on Senior Jorts Day. ALAS.

Sy is...yeah Zav probably tries to stay off of Sy's radar. Of course, Zav is not above stoking the fires of quidditch rivalry.

ROOFL OMG. If Micah asks Xavier to do something stupid for his movies Zav will absolutely be there with bells on.
