omg. This time I actually have music I've been listening to while writing each character! This is all very exciting!

Lately I've been listening to a lot of dancehall while writing Casey. These are songs that he'd probably listen to, but also I just associate with him.

BONUS! The choreography in the Movado, Major Lazer, and Lady Gaga videos also serve as major Casey inspo when I'm stuck on his ~voice.~ It's a far cry from the contemporary dance he's used to, but I think working with Rafael and Ty so much has been opening him up to other styles that are pushing him to go beyond contemp. (None of these are ballet, sry.)

COME INTO MY ROOM - MOVADO FT. STACIOUS (x) Casey likes to suggest inappropriate songs for cheer routines; this is one of them. It's ... a very promiscuous song. It was nearly on repeat for the Diego/Casey party scene last week.

Gooey - Glass Animals (x) The song I was listening to writing the Casey/Diego scene. Even Diego's sexy songs are kind of moody.
