Wanted lines is back! It's a bit late this month on account of holiday madness, but here you are! Take this as an opportunity to discuss character development, and talk about lines you might want to build with one another.

Extracurriculars: Quidditch, archery.
Current State: Reid is quietly frustrated by his inability to maintain interest in relationships, and his hurdles with communication and building close relationships aren't helping. He kind of wishes he could just date Sy because that feels like the only friendship that comes easily to him, and no one else has inspired any lasting interest. BUT THEN AGAIN, he's tried to date friends recently only to once again feel a whole lot of nothing, so he's just kind of low level confused and angry teenager all the time. The anons kind of got under his skin. He's also still struggling with Quidditch, and the next game is coming up fast. He's working hard to get it together as a Chaser, but he really misses being Seeker and that feeling isn't going away. Because of this, he's going to decide to try out for Seeker instead of Chaser on the Gooseberry team.
Looking For:

ANYTHING. I'm trying to get more active with Reid, so if you have any ideas, run them by me. ♥
Exes? If you would like to be yet another person who attempted to date Reid only for it to have negative levels of passion and fizzle out in under a month, I'm up for it.
His parents might not make it to PTC, due to their demanding jobs. I haven't decided yet! If they do, they're... exceedingly normal people.
Friends...??? Enemies??? He's a little shit when he dislikes people, but he's usually pretty inoffensive so I don't think it'll come up often.

Extracurriculars: OE, Archery, Boating, Dueling and Fencing.
Current State: BURNING. OUT. He’s frustrated that he hasn’t got the Animagus transformation down, and freaked out by how fast their senior year is going by, and just always overwhelmed because he’s in nine frigging classes. Nate isn’t sleeping. When he does get to sleep, he’s been sleepwalking. Leo is probably the only person in game who might know this depending on how well he sleeps, because we don’t have any other Senior Ebonboys. But his Moms will probably also be like, “ok well you look like a tired beb.” Help the poor tired beb.
Looking For: Maybe I should put up a wanted ad for more Senior Ebonboys. This is such a quiet, well-behaved cabin. Nothing is exploding. Except for their brains.
Anything Else: I have a super vague idea of what I want to do when Nate’s parents come for PTCs, buuuut I don’t know how I’m actually going to do it so just IGNORE ME. Also, when my brain starts working again (lmao that never happens) I am going to tag Heather in that adorable thread I promise.

Current State: Riley has pretty much just been in LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME mode for… a while. She’s such a drama queen, she will try and turn literally everything into being about her if I play her too much. And we recently discovered something that has been there all along: the fact that she’s possessive as fuck of her friends and doesn’t like it when they’re in relationships because you’re supposed to be giving Riley all of your excess attention.
Looking For: I think what I want the most is more Azurcrest cheerleaders. Meggie can’t play all of them. She will inappropriately flirt with probably all of you, don’t you want that?
Anything Else: Despite Riley’s VEHEMENT DISAPPROVAL of boys unnecessarily taking off their shirts, Casey might actually be her platonic soulmate. They’re like this super shallow yin and yang. I also want to say I love our mean girls clique. They made that last anon post so much fun. They are such terrible children.

Looking For: Moooostly just friends, Jeffy doesn’t have a mean bone in his body what would he do with enemies? I plan on throwing him at people and seeing what sticks, but I’m down for any ideas that might help make things stick! I also want AzurBEST Quidditch team bonding. Current State:

Just assume the girl's still abandoning most morning runs in favour of hockey drills that make a lot of screechy skate noises.
She'll be spending all free time in the library from breakfast to curfew (except for a thirdish of it in the artificing shed). Anyone who attempts to disturb her without having talked to her about said disturbance beforehand will receive a Look. This will pretty much continue until the Coppertale Quidditch game is over, when she has no extra practices. (Then she might only stay until dinner. Look, she's living it up!) As a result of all this she's kind of... tightly wound.
Coppertale Quidditch: She's going to be shit-talking you relentlessly. It won't be too bad right now, but in the two weeks before the match you can assume she'll take any opening she can get, and she'll take it too far once or twice. She figures that being on the bench makes her kind of invincible and she can't pass up the chance to bother the foxes.

Looking For: Right now? Tbh not much because I don't have any ideas, but if you do then THROW 'EM AT ME. I'M OPEN. Enemies are always fun, and I don't think she really has them rn? Library pals. idk.
Anything Else:

It was decided during the last Anon post that if Quinn had entered Gooseberry without the threat of an academic scholarship looming her her head, there's a very real chance that she could have ended up an utter bitch and a Mean Girl.
During Friday the 13th when she, Etta, and Laurel are stuck in their cabin she will be suggesting that they hotbox it at some point.

Current State: GOOD AND BAD. He got the hard no rejection from Ravi, which has him feeling sad in the way only a lovelorn fifteen year old can. But Calvin's pretty steely so he's Dealing With It. On the other hand, Calvin has like... friends? Some of them are even guys and he doesn't yell at them ~~anymore~~??? Calvin's been focusing a lot on his studies, which is my excuse for why he's not around a lot lol.

Maybe you should try flirting with/crushing on boys your age, Calvin.
He's going to declare ~~ex-~~Slytherin war on Coralee when he realizes the full breadth of the Coralee/Cole situation. He might end up getting in over his head.
Uhmmm spooky events freak Calvin out a lot even though he's trying SO HARD to be cool about it. He responds to fear with CRANKINESS but maybe friends can enjoy him being clingier with a little less bluster.
His icy heart has melted a lot since letting Cole and Micah in, so if anyone else wants to befriend this baby faced bag of knives, now's your chance.
...He's still going to be abrasive, though. That's just a permanent fixture of the Calvin Experience.

Current State: Smitten with Leo and starting to feel nervous about it. Rafael can't help but overthink and overplan everything, and he's not fantastic at processing emotions and feelings. Also, he kind of decided to go for being an Auror because of Leo, and Rafael doesn't think he's the kind of guy who does things like that because of a relationship. But here he is. (Secretly, he clung to the I-want-to-be-a-politician thing because he was so distraught about losing his dance career. This is way less of a dramatic decision than he's making it out to be.) Aaaaaand he's so stressed out by the tension in his cabin. So stressed. And once he learns that the forecast is saying Hurricane Ricardo is incoming, he's going to want to die. Sometimes he needs to lock himself in the dance studio, use a few good silencing charms, and scream. BUT EVERYTHING IS FINE HE'S HANDLING IT THIS ISN'T GETTING TO HIM.

Current State: Robin went to the optometrist over break, because Robin has terrible eyesight but his dad is crazy and WHY WOULD YOU GO TO AN OUTSIDE DOCTOR. So now he has glasses and he’s probably going around like, “Holy fuck since when do you have green eyes? OH MY GOD, I CAN READ THE BOARD FROM THE BACK OF CLASS, I DIDN’T KNOW EYES COULD DO THAT.” So. That’s what’s new on the Youngblood front.

Current State: Rosy is, like, always grumpy for one reason or another, but she’s not excessively grumpy right now. You might actually be able to describe her as happy. The holidays are over, she doesn’t have to be Rosy the Grinch anymore! It’ll be months before she has to see her family again! Her very obvious flirting with Chris paid off! She gets to yell at people and take points away again! HOW FUN.
But don’t worry, that will all go away after the PTC announcement. She knows her parents are going to come and ruin everything, they do it so well it’s like ruining everything is their job. So pretty much after tomorrow prepare for her to spend the next couple weeks obsessively trying to make everything around her as perfect as humanly possible to try and limit the opportunities for pointless criticism. She might need help calming down. But don’t tell her to calm down unless you want to get your head bitten off and spit back out at you. Rosy you're not making it easy to help you.

Current State: Uhhhh he is a recluse? He kept very much to himself over the holidays, actively avoided everyone else on campus, etc. Now he's readjusting to that School Life. He's a little less aggressive than usual, noticeably -- probably because he's a little depressed. That will soon be channeled into trying out for the Gooseberry team and spreading his wings as the Aggressive Academic he's always been but done his best to hide (especially after parent/teacher conferences, ugh). Anyway. He's so very moody, etc. He's also repressing a couple of inconvenient crushes, and still so secretly pining when it comes to his other romantic experiences ("NO I NEVER THINK ABOUT YOU NOW, IVY / I ONLY FEEL THE SMALLEST STING / OF YOUR BLONDNESS BLINDING").
Looking For: Idk! I would like to develop some friendships that are actually friendships, get him out there a little more.

She's taking way too many classes and stretches herself very thin time after time; this is probably starting to show a little physically, even if she doesn't exactly open up about it. Current State: Content. She's - a generally content person, really. And going home for a while was good for her. There's some underlying jittery anticipation for when Quidditch really starts up again, because while she's very happy to joke about it, she doesn't really like losing. Especially when she knows they're good. And they try really hard. Just - frustration is not a thing she enjoys, guys. It isn't a good time for anybody involved. And she's kind of worried about Sy's blood-pressure. No more of that, please.

Current State: Diego was informed by his parents over the break that they're going to make him see a therapist because of... I mean, there's an laundry list of reasons why he needs to do this. However, he can't start until after graduation because ~boarding school~ so he's just going to stay lowkey scared of that for a while. He's also slowly meandering his way towards getting over Cecil, and he's made good progress. It's no longer a gaping emotional wound! He isn't listening to even half as much sad music about unrequited love as he was a few weeks ago! Good job, Diego! He's still kind of a wreck, but in a way that's easier to hide from all of his loved ones, and that's how he likes it. He's also rapidly developing a fresh new crush on Ravi "I Don't Date" Dhaliwal. Stay tuned.
Looking For:

Diego's going to do another stupid "let's get in trouble!!!" thing in the eventual future. My current thought is an unsanctioned camping trip. Everyone sneaks out after curfew, has a little party in the woods, hunkers down in those pre-warmed tents he got for the Grotto party. This would be another "opt-in if you want to get in trouble" kind of deal, like sledding was, and it'll take place sometime after the talent show.
I'm going to be emailing the Holy Rosicrucians about what they should perform! Woooo!

His senior project is basically done. It's just down to recording it. Diego's got a GO GO GO attitude about getting this shit done, so... he's actually made excellent progress and will be spending the remaining months fussing over lyrics and details and going through fits of rewriting minor things. But this all means that Levi is off the hook for senior project stuff if he's still hitching his wagon to Diego.

Leo is lowkey stressing about so much in this tag-end of Senior Year. SO MUCH. He's also really worried about Solomon and Casper in the aftermath of that whole incident, because he became Team Dad almost against his will. As we have seen, he's not well-equipped to handle all those feelings, so that continuing saga is exciting. He ALSO has flashes of worry that he's way too low-class to even be trying with Rafael, wtf are you doing Leo, etc, especially because they're going to be away from the cocoon of Gooseberry soon and what happens then and oh no.

But that's okay. He's overall doing okay well at his schoolwork, and is obviously head over heels in his relationship, and he's ultimately happy right now. If he wasn't stressed at the same time, he wouldn't know what to do. He is handling it by telling himself that he's going to do scarier shit than this in a year and he better suck it up or else. I think that's called overcoming intimidation by intimidating yourself. I don't think there's any self-help books about it yet.

Looking For: I just realized he has VERY FEW good friends who know details of his home life. Disclosing things made him actually nervous. That whole divide will be more clear soon. SO maybe one or two people who really know how much he doesn't say? This feels like a weird thing to advertise for but eh.

Someone tell this child rebelling does not work if you are just staying in the realm of the law. So that's probably why he's back from break about 3% more smartass. That could climb. I don't know. Do I really NEED another smartass? I don't.

OTHER than that, he is still kind of existing, and I need to play him more. He will never participate in grotto parties as long as he lives.

Current State: Ty's currently in a pretty good place! While the holidays always get him down because he has to go see his stoic, traditional, not-very-nice parents, he got to go to Tabitha's party, sneak off to Chris' for a night (and get a tattoo!), and then come back to school early to play with Rafael. So that helped. He, Rafael, Quinn, and Leo are teaching themselves to swing dance (Operation Dances with Foxes!) and he recently accomplished his one big magical goal of becoming an Animagus! While he'd wanted something more impressive than a squirrel, he's enjoying his squirrely shenanigans quite a bit and is actually reall happy. The only semi-complicated aspect of his life at the moment is that his friend-with-benefits Quinn is becoming his friend-he's-got-a-crush-on Quinn. He had a crush on her way back in the day when she was first dating Rafael and now that's hitting him again harder than ever. But he doesn't consider himself the relationship type (he's flighty and ridiculous and he'd mess it up week one, obviously) and his parents would make anyone (especially any non-pure-blood) he dated miserable anyway, so what's the point?
Looking For:
✦ Friends with Benefits...that he's seeing less and less of or no longer seeing at all. But not because he's developing feelings toward Quinn or anything. That would be stupid.
✦ People to convince him to do unwise things. Ty's not usually a troublemaker on his own, but he gets caught up in things easily and can be immensely reckless with the right prompting. Sorry Raf.
