ANNOUNCEMENTS: Dec 29
Last announcements of the year!!!!! :O

If you have not yet already done so, please post to December's Activity Check! (If you've resolved to drop a character, please do us a favour and let us know here or in the Dropbox so we're not awkwardly emailing you later to be like "hey... what's up...")

January's plot calendar will be posted on Saturday, December 31 at 10 AM Mountain Time. (If you need help figuring out when that will be for you, take a look at the green indicator here.) We've learned our lesson from December, so there will be less IC/OOC's, but hopefully characters will be able to devote proper focus to the ones which are coming up. Three words: Parent-Teacher Conferences.

Character Name: Roxanne Barringer
Plans For Next Year: Win a Quidditch game? Before Sy sacrifices them to the heathen gods. Get her dad to let her walk tightrope blindfolded.
Alternate PB: The idea of a magic circus solidified before Roxie did, so I definitely waffled around with PBs for her for a bit. Thought about Sarah Hyland or Malese Jow. But then Lulu was wearing a tutu and rockin' some Leia buns (like so), so she clearly won that battle.
How would that have changed them?: She probably would have been louder and more obviously girly with the former. And a bit more obviously mouthy with the latter. She evened out into someone who's a bit weird, but generally pretty mellow.

If they lose against Azurcrest, Copperteam is going to turn into a Hunger Games-type rule by fear scenario. FOR EVERY GAME WE LOSE, A FRESHMAN DIES. Now let's see if anyone on the team is going to care if freshmen are getting sacrificed............

I loooove Roxie's PB btw, I think she's super cute and works really well for how mellow Roxie is. I enjoy the dynamic between her and Sy because Sy is pretty wound up most of the time and Roxie handles him well. She doesn't let him trample over her? I was going somewhere with this but this response just got less coherent as time passed...

Aw, Roxie doesn't want the freshmen to die. If they were maimed a bit. Eh. But dying is really permanent. And they'd probably have to write letters home to their parents explaining where their children went. Which seems both time-consuming and mildly stressful.

It's fine. They're going to win.

And, yes! I feel like they gel really well with each other. She doesn't take shit, sure. But she also doesn't mind him spewing it or being mad in her general direction. So she's happy to let him get it out, but won't escalate. So it works! (And her family totally loved the CRAP out of having him and Reid over. Her Oma said vague and ominous things and her sister obligingly swallowed dinnerware for them. And her mother 100% stuffed them full of food that wasn't made of cardboard.)

	I looooooove Roxie's PB so much. She's so cute and pretty and I'd never seen her before. She fits Roxie perfectly. I also love the magic circus thing and I think I was a total bum about replying Roxie's intro but this is totally something that Sun-mi would be very interested in / probably have been to at some point!!! 	ohgosh, no that's totally fine! There are so many intros. I'm so bad at them too. But, yes! Magic circus for everybody! And Roxie would definitely be fascinated by the dragons too. Her Aunt won't let them keep any - which she understands on a logical level of space/proper environment, but dude that's SO cool. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	People can ALWAYS make more circus! They are huge and sprawling and very content to be bootless, carnies. YOU CAN HAVE THEM ALL. She needs friends, yes. (Reply to this) (Parent)
