Last announcements of the year!!!!! :O

If you have not yet already done so, please post to December's Activity Check! (If you've resolved to drop a character, please do us a favour and let us know here or in the Dropbox so we're not awkwardly emailing you later to be like "hey... what's up...")

January's plot calendar will be posted on Saturday, December 31 at 10 AM Mountain Time. (If you need help figuring out when that will be for you, take a look at the green indicator here.) We've learned our lesson from December, so there will be less IC/OOC's, but hopefully characters will be able to devote proper focus to the ones which are coming up. Three words: Parent-Teacher Conferences.

I am working on a new character, and I kind of want him to be a cheerleader so I can 1: Have a male and 2: Have one that's not a captain. My question here is for Tabs, and I'm wondering if she'd mind having a deaf squad member? I watch a lot of shows and stuff, and they've sometimes used hand signals or taps on the shoulder for dances and such, and louder drums for vibrations to help. I didn't want to saddle the Ribbonfin Squad with that against their will, though!

How long would he have been on the squad and which year is he? I'm not against it at all, I just don't know much about how deaf people's needs would be accommodated in this way and neither does Tabs. This is her second year as captain, so if he's been on the squad before that, we can handwave that her predecessor came up with the various rules and techniques for bringing him in. If not, you're going to have to guide me quite a bit in what his expectations would be!

	Well he's a baby sophomore so even if he'd been on since freshman year, he'd still be under Tabs. I'll be more than happy to talk it out and provide guidance and whatever else where I can too! (Reply to this) (Parent)
