ANNOUNCEMENTS: Dec 29
Last announcements of the year!!!!! :O

If you have not yet already done so, please post to December's Activity Check! (If you've resolved to drop a character, please do us a favour and let us know here or in the Dropbox so we're not awkwardly emailing you later to be like "hey... what's up...")

January's plot calendar will be posted on Saturday, December 31 at 10 AM Mountain Time. (If you need help figuring out when that will be for you, take a look at the green indicator here.) We've learned our lesson from December, so there will be less IC/OOC's, but hopefully characters will be able to devote proper focus to the ones which are coming up. Three words: Parent-Teacher Conferences.

Character Name: Ursula de Luca
Plans For Next Year: Gosh idk. She's heavily influenced by who she surrounds herself with... which used to be lots of sweet Ribbonfins and Reid. But now that there's a properly established mean girls clique, she may start waffling more between naughty and nice.
Alternate PB: I picked Chelsea Clark before ever picking a name off the cast list (or knowing if icons existed), but the other PB I had considered at the time was Jessica Sula and her beautiful hair in Recovery Road. ...And then I did pick a name I liked and just did some silly family history stuff to make the name work with the PB.
How would that have changed them?: I don't think Ursula would be Ursula with a different PB. BUT assuming she actually did get the same basic concept.. she'd definitely be way less stilted and prissy princess and put together. Probably warmer and actually halfway decent at developing close relationships.

	btw I am so grateful that you picked up Ursula and that she's SUCH A CUTE PB and SUCH A GREAT CONCEPT, because I loved her name when I added it to the roster but I was also like "no one is going to want to play a character named Ursula :(" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	OMG NO. Her name is perfect. I am grateful you humored her goofy family history and the fact she is accidentally Mina 2.0 on paper (though they have developed a lot differently). REALLY I AM JUST GRATEFUL TO RP AGAIN AND THAT I GET TO PLAY URSULA. but thank you, thank you. ♥ (Reply to this) (Parent)

She is. I am not ashamed to admit that I watched two seasons of the Netflix Degrassi and had to use her. :c

I really hope so! I'm so glad they're talking again. When I was writing Ursula, I saw that Chloe, Holden, and Kurt were kind of odd ducks so I wrote into her that she got along with those types and I am so glad that I did. They all bring out a softer side of Ursula that helps balance her from just being intolerable all the time. (And... no worries. I imagine the fact that Reid puts up with Sy generally encourages Ursula to think that he'd be willing to put up with all her awful flaws too. But he's such a softie that she naturally reels herself in.)
