Last announcements of the year!!!!! :O

If you have not yet already done so, please post to December's Activity Check! (If you've resolved to drop a character, please do us a favour and let us know here or in the Dropbox so we're not awkwardly emailing you later to be like "hey... what's up...")

January's plot calendar will be posted on Saturday, December 31 at 10 AM Mountain Time. (If you need help figuring out when that will be for you, take a look at the green indicator here.) We've learned our lesson from December, so there will be less IC/OOC's, but hopefully characters will be able to devote proper focus to the ones which are coming up. Three words: Parent-Teacher Conferences.

other things that might be helpful to know:

- this is the FIRST EVER year that Gooseberry is having parent-teacher conferences, and it will be announced IC early in the month
- parents/guardians will be given the option of staying overnight since it's a long trip for many of them
- there will be certain limitations on what you (as a player) can do during PTC but meggie and i will be trying to make this as flexible and player-driven as possible, and give everyone plenty of time to plan for it. more details to come!!!

(everyone please send your love to meggie, who is a champion and usually does the bulk of the work when it comes to writing the plot calendar)

	At first, I saw the words Parent-Teacher Conference and twitched a bit because I forgot that I have those in February. But then I realized that I don't have to TALK to people's parents and I clapped my hands in sheer glee. Because I get to BE parents. AT myself. So much better than being a teacher at people. 	thank yooooou ♥ and yesss the entire goal of Parent-Teacher Conference is not to politely update parents on their children's progress, but to traumatize or embarrass our fictional teenagers. so it will probably be slightly less menial than a real life PTC. 	My real-life teenagers are do not care if I embarrass them. It's ALL WASTED. Little jerks. Ruining any joy I could leech out of the experience. But my fictional teenagers will care. So that makes up for it. Bash will stress out enough for the ENTIRE school. (Reply to this) (Parent)
