Hi, everyone, newbie here! My name is Kenzie. I'm 26 years old (27 in April!), I'm an entertainment editor, and please friend me at sora for randomness, video game talk, and memes. I don't know most of you, so I'm excited to meet you. Here are my kids.

Garrett Ogletree (isolate), Coppertale Sophomore, Prefect, Dueling & Fencing, Outdoor Exploration, Quidditch Reserve Beater/Chaser. His concept is "Near-silent reformed rebel in the streets, mischievous consulting troublemaker in the sheets." Despite being the only prefect and the only dark-haired one, Garrett is the Ogletree you might not have heard of because he doesn't talk much. A lot of people think he's an arrogant snob because of this and because of the fact that he'll walk away from conversations that seem sycophantic or superficial and carries himself with the regal bearing of a prince, but the truth is that he's just shy. He won't initiate conversations, but if you start it you'll actually find he's got a mischievous and sly sense of humor to go with his studious athleticism, and he loves danger and trouble as much as the next guy. As a matter of fact, he's a reformed rebel who was quite the problem child back at Ilvermorny (Thunderbird, what what) but did a complete 180 when he started Gooseberry and now is more of a "consulting troublemaker." He'll give you all the information and resources you need, but he'll stay out of it. He's actually quite a little shit.

LINES WANTED: Friends? Especially Quidditch friends, even though he's never been off the reserves, and dueling friends, because that is his favorite thing to do ever. People who do charity work with him? He LOVES animals and supports several hundred animal-related charities. People who think he's a tool because he doesn't talk much? People he has advised about pranks and stuff before to hilarious effect when the prank was carried out? Exes of both genders? People who know him from the national dueling competitions he's participated in/won?

Bailey Hartman (cyrano), Ebonhide Junior, Cheer Squad, Event Committee. Her concept is "A busybody matchmaker who purposefully confuses "good match" with "good drama." Bailey is a meddlesome matchmaker who will set you up whether you ask her to or not. Like, she has business cards for people who want to have a little fun and go on a few blind dates, but, even if you don't come to her, she's always sticking her nose in other people's business, telling two people they'd be perfect together, and going out of her way to organize them running across each other in intimate settings against their will. But really she just loves drama, so sometimes it's less about perfect match and more about how entertaining the couple will be. Shockingly, when not matchmaking, Bailey is actually pretty quiet and normal and understated. Her own business is kept on a bit of a lockdown, and she's not really prone to drama in her own life because it's only fun when it happens to other people. She loves event planning, cheerleading, and basically anything to do with the social side of school.

LINES WANTED: Roommates, come at me! Bailey wants to be friends with ALL of you, especially if you don't want to be friends with her. She went to St. Cyprian until she got into Gooseberry, so come at her St. Cyprian kids. Any and all friends? People she's matched up before and it went great? People she's matched up before and it was horrible and she was all popcorn.gif. Fellow kids from Texas? Exes of her own? Enemies? She's got to have some. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

HI KENZIE! Welcome! I'm so excited about both of your characters! I'm Aleena and I have two:

Cressida Quayle (this journal), but everyone calls her Cricket. She's the Senior Ebonhide Prefect. She's from a prominent pureblood family from Olympus, Tennessee. Her dad is a MACUSA rep with presidential buzz swirling around him and her mom is the Magical Martha Stewart. She makes it her business to know everything about everyone and is very welcoming, inviting, helpful, and warm. But beneath that sweet Southern belle exterior, she's actually very anxious and emotional. She'll have lots of connects with both your characters.

Cricket&Garret: I've already established with Heather that Cricket & Tabs are childhood friends through pureblood circles/MACUSA connections, so Cricket has known Garrett since they were really young. She definitely treats him like a surrogate younger brother and will try to be very involved in his life, whether he likes it or not. She'll probably let him get away with more prankstery things than she would normally let other people get away with.

Cricket&Bailey: GOD BLESS YOU, BAILEY! You've arrived just in the nick of time! Maggie and Cricket were JUST lamenting about how they need someone to meddle on their behalf since the Winter Formal is fast approaching. Cricket is quite the romantic meddler herself and is very protective of her Ebonladies, so I think they'll get along super well.

Jesse McBride (

ijustknowit). He's the Senior Azurcrest Prefect. His tagline is "Self-assured Hermeticism geek loves boobies, beer, and breaking the space-time continuum." Jesse is a very gifted math/science/spell craft kid who spends a lot of time working on his Senior Project, which is essentially teleportation for muggles. But socially he comes across as bro-y, irreverent, crass, and a little bit annoying. He's very laid back, sure of himself, and doesn't really let anything get under his skin. He loves to party and has a bit of a drinking problem, but is generally a nice enough guy. He is the drummer for "his" band (name constantly changing) with Wes and Dahlia.

Jesse&Garret: Jesse is cool with your pranking. You do you. Garret will probably think Jesse is gross though, because he is the exact opposite of a little prince. He wears cargo shorts, always seems to smell like deli meat, and his drink of choice is malt liquor. Great guy. Gotta love him.

Jesse&Bailey: They could have a fun dynamic, I'm not sure! If she is friends with Wes through St. Cyprian, that could be a connection for them. Good luck trying to matchmake for Jesse, though. He is NOT a hot commodity, but he'll take any meddling in stride and just laugh it off.

Aha, this is the infamous Cricket Quayle. OMG, that's adorable. Garrett looks upon her as an older sister for sure. He was such a little shit all through Ilvermorny and also childhood, just the worst, but he's calmed down a lot more now. And he's loved her through it all regardless — and will be a little shit to her because, well, she knows him.

Bae says oh I got this. I got you. Bae will absolutely love Cricket, and she will absolutely be doing her matchmaking for the formal. I was planning to do a code for it when I got home, so this will be a fun way to flex her muscles there.

Garrett doesn't judge, man. He's not so much into the crassness but if you want to smell like deli meat that's your business. He'll be polite but probs not close.

TBD on Wes, but if they're friends than Bae is a big fan of their band and will promote them and attend their concerts and such, as she does. And she absolutely will matchmake for Jesse. The point of a blind date is that it's blind. If only it didn't have a sense of smell...

Ah, yes, her name precedes her. Don't listen to Wes, Bae! He doesn't know what he is talking about. (Yes, he does. She is super neurotic).

This all sounds super good to me! I'm excited! Since Cricket was the previous reigning Ebonhide meddler, lemme know if you want me to fill Bae in on all the hot relationship gossip, either IC or OOC. (Hmm... maybe this should be a plot! meme...)
