Hi! My name is Brit and I am a newbie here. I've been out of RP for a couple months and am so excited to dip my toes back into the water at this game. I'm from California, a caption editor--basically I just watch TV all day, and I am terrible at introductions because I tend to go overboard and can't seem to succinctly explain my characters. SO, I am going to TRY really, really hard but I encourage y'all just to read their apps (eventually) because I will probably miss something.

Ramon Delgago backbeat is the younger brother of Sofia Delgado. He's a sophomore in Ribbonfin, he's involved in a lot of activities: archery, Dueling & Fencing, Outdoor Exploration, and Quidditch (Beater -- first string).

He has a bit of a temper problem and by a bit, I mean, a lot. Any little thing can set him off. He's sensitive and so her overreacts in a dramatic manner. Due to this he really tries to stay away from people but he's not complete antisocial. He just knows that he's an accidental asshole because he has no filter and poor impulse control. He eventually apologizes, at least in his own way. He has a hard time with it. He also isn't fond of attention despite his habit of drawing it to himself with his outbursts. There are silver linings though! Ramon is an amazing athlete. Quidditch, Soccer, and Tae-Kwon-Do are his sports of choice but in his words, he'll kick your ass at anything. He's incredibly competitive. Also, asexual, well heterosexual, but anything romantic or sexual makes him feel ridiculously awkward, so please just don't.

NEEDS: Friends, enemies, people he's beat up, people who have beat him up, and sports buddies.

Antonia Papadakis (this journal). She's a junior in Ebonhide. She's a cheerleader, also involved in choir and event planning committee. She's also been in nearly every club in her last two years.

Her concept is: overemotional closeted pageant queen who lives life at full-throttle. She grew up competing in child beauty pageants all over the west coast. Antonia absolutely loves all things girly: make-up, fashion, accessories. She's a bodacious seamstress and makes all of her own clothes. She loves giving makeovers and will also create outfits for anyone who's willing to pay for one. Antonia also appears to be an easy-going prefect but she does have a 3 strike and you're out rule. She really just wants to be friends and get along. Usually the troublemakers she reaches out the most to. Prior to coming to Gooseberry she attended The Greek Institute of Magic. Also, she's homosexual but so far back in the closet she may as well be in Narnia.

NEEDS: Friends, enemies, frenemies, maybe an ex-boyfriend that she drove away with being crazy trying to, you know, not be more interested in girls, and customers.

OMG OMG OMG OMG. Sorry. The reason for my excitement are as follows:

1. I LOVE KATIE STEVENS. I was gonna use her for Vee here originally.
2. Vee here is her ROOMIE and she is super friendly and can already tell Antonia is gonna be amazing.
3. (THE MOST IMPORTANT) Vee is the captain of the cheer squad and had NO SQUAD played for a long time. NOW SHE HAS ANOTHER WHO IS ALSO HER ROOMIE. *dies*

	:D 1. ME TOO! I've been dying to use her for forever. 2. They have a lot in common which was totally accidental but they're even from the same state, so they have to be great friends. <3 3. Vee here is also a Junior Ebonhide. She is "Perky overachiever with an inability to say no or comprehend failure." Vee joins every club, takes every class (or she did before she realized that wasn't realistic, and it still makes her sad she can't tbh), and is generally someone who likes to keep busy and do well and be perfect because that's important. She's friendly with everyone, and I think she and Antonia will get along SO WELL. Like. I'm talking super close if it jives with you? (I see your comment and I think you agree <3) She'll be nice to Ramon too, but he might not have as much to do with her.

Susana Velasquez will, however (

gottaplay) Coppertale Sophomore. Quidditch obsessed, grew up in a wealthy family but was always ignored/overlooked. She can be a bit guarded and have attitude, but really she's a sweet girl who just likes being noticed. Quidditch makes her feel special and important so she is super into it. They're in the same house and he's a reserve on the team, so. I imagine we can get something going for them? AS A BONUS, THEIR PBS WERE ALSO TWINS. ;) Ana will likely be just polite to Antonia, if she talks to her at all.

Marilyn Fairchild (

notmonroe) Junior Ribbonfin. She plays Quidditch, but grew up in a literal zoo (parents are a magizoologist and a dragon tamer so they lived outdoors on reserves and moved around a lot) Think Mean Girls, because she's super sweet and naive with social things, but got taken advantage of by a mean clique who told her she was pretty and could use it. However, she's not that anymore, but she still likes girly things now and tries not to be too high maintenance. Super sweet and innocent to everyone, so she'll be nice to both of yours. (Especially Antonia because she does like girls ;D)

Ryan Hertz (

glasshalfdoomed) Senior Azurcrest. He had a rough childhood (dad abused him when he found out he had magic because he thought he was "evil", mom never in the picture) So he basically now doesn't think he deserves to be happy or have good things. But since finding out his mom is in Azkaban, he decided he didn't want to be like either parent so pretends to be an aloof yet charismatic enigmatic bad boy, when really he wishes he could be his doome cookie reclusive self. He isn't overly extroverted, but isn't mean. I doubt he'd interact much with either of yours, but we'll see!

VEE: Yes, yes, a thousand times yes for Antonia. Ramon may actively avoid her because she seems really nice and he doesn't want to hurt her feelings.

SUSANA: Antonia might talk to Susana, she's very social! Ramon, on the other hand, is actually in Ribbonfin, but they'll know each other because same year/Quidditch. If she has an attitude with him, he'll have one right back, but he might appreciate it.

MARILYN: She is precious and I JUST watched that movie with my sister-in-law because there was some sort of Lindsay Lohan marathon on, I think. Antonia is super red right now. She'll be nice! I can't promise Ramon will be, but ignore him. He's a dick.

RYAN: D: oh Ryan. Antonia has a soft spot for troubled kids. She'll probably speak to him from time to time. Ramon probably has nothing to do with him unless Ryan hits on Sofia, then Ramon will be the most annoying gnat in the world.

Good lord I can't read. Sorry! But yeah she will give attitude if the situation/mood strikes, though generally she's pretty even. She's been in a good mood lately so. There's that.

RIGHT? I couldn't help myself. And yeah, Marilyn is still feeling out being out of Narnia herself, not that she really understood hiding or being ashamed, she just didn't like being made fun of for it? Ramon's face is my love so I will not care about meanness.

Ryan doesn't advertise that past bit? But people prolly pick up on something because he's not FULLY selling that carefree act. Don't worry Ramon, he thinks Sofia is gorgeous but isn't the hitting on type. Too awkward, too many lingering feelings for his ex and feelings are HARD. But he'll talk to Antonia because he's not a dick.

It's okay! Haha, that's good. Hopefully he doesn't put her in too bad of a mood. He can be... decent from time to time. It's just hard to get there.

Antonia was raised in a very Catholic family which is laughable because she's the product of a teen pregnancy. Still, she's already the black sheep of the family because of that. She just doesn't want to be outcasted even more. skdajflkd Ramon is like @.@ my face is hideous, stop looking.

Antonia can be perceptive so she probably would. Ramon just breathed a HUGE sigh of relief.

ALSO fun fact: Ryan's PB Nick Roux and I live in the same area. Our brothers were friends back in high school and he used to come into my work when I was at Barnes & Noble.

Aww poor Antonia. Marilyn was raised very...alternatively, so she doesn't have those stipulations. (Though the Catholic family thing is something Ryan can relate to. His dad thought he needed exorcisms and stuff)

P.S. Your face is FAR from hideous Ramon.

OMG THAT'S AMAZING. Is he as hot in person as he is in everything he does? (Which sadly isn't as much as I want) I hope he's not a dick.

Marilyn has the coolest upbringing, let's be real. Antonia admires her for being able to be out since she can't be herself. Ooh, maybe they can bond over that. Antonia's maternal grandparents thought similarly of her muggleborn mother.

Ramon is like /).(\

He is VERY attractive in person and ridiculously tall. I thought television made him look shorter than he actually is. Also, not at all. He's very friendly. All the girls at my store were going ga-ga over him and he handled it like a champ. And according to my brother "he's chill."
