WANTED LINES MEME: December

Just like we promised, Wanted Lines is going to be a meme that will take place once a month, usually around the 1st. This will give everyone an opportunity to discuss their character development, and talk about lines they might want to build with one another.

So if you want to participate, fill out the following with each of your characters, then comment around and talk about their relationships and how your characters could interact now or in the future!

I don't know why our characters aren't interacting??? They obvz should! Cricket has MACUSA connects with him and her older brother is also a dumb hobnobbing jerk. I'll have to have her reach out to him more. Maybe when she starts obsessively Christmasing and tries to recruit prefects to help her.

Annnnd Jesse is his prefect boss, even though he's been prefecting for less time LOL. I don't understand why Senior prefects get to make decisions. He can't be trusted. But they can be dorky science bros??

I KNOW I was gone for awhile and I just haven't gotten back on my feet. I really like all the interactions Clem + Cricket have had too even though it's just been a few little things. It's an interesting dynamic to me because they both put up fronts, but in super different ways. but in this convo they were both being a little bit more on the level and that was interesting to me.

Reece can definitely help with Christmasy stuff! He can make lil decorations and stuff for her. THIS IS ALSO INTERESTING because Cricket and Reece have the same kind of family dynamic, because he's got the annoying older brother, and then his sister is super protective of Reece. wahhh I really wish we had a Ulysses in-game

and I've been meaning to talk to you about Jesse and Reece for awhile!! I feel like they'd really get along and Reece would look up to him even if he has only been a prefect for half the time Reece has. He's probablys always thought he was super cool so he's happy to have him on the prefect-ing team

Clem&Cricket: I think of that convo a lot too! That was Cricket's first adventure in losing her cool. Cricket has changed a bit from her original concept and I think will have an easier time jiving with Clem now. I originally thought she was going to be the kind of girl who is super jealous of other women, but that never ended up making sense and I couldn't force it. Now, it's less that she is hiding a super bitchy side, but rather that she is hiding how vulnerable and anxious she is, which can often come across as mean. We'll have to get them chatting more and see to what extent they can really read each other.

Reece&Cricket: Really?! That's so exciting! If Reece has helped her in years past, she'll reach out to enlist him again this year. I never thought to incorporate Christmasy gadgets... Helping Cricket decorate = +10000000 friendship points.

Their family dynamic is VERY similar, which probably leads Cricket to treat Reece a bit like a younger brother. I mean, she does with most guys, but it'll especially fit the mold. Once we get a Ulysses, I will insist that Uly + Reece are bffs. "Why can't you be more like Reece, Uly? Look at all the cute lil decorations Reece made, Uly." etc.

Reece&Jesse: Reece is probably one of the few people who sees Jesse actually focusing and being intelligent while they work in the Artificing shed. And maybe Jesse takes Reece under his wing a little (lol, as if he is qualified to take anybody under his wing). If Reece ever needs a nudge to come engage in party type things, Jesse is his main man.

THIS ALL SOUNDS GOOD my brain is fried rn but I love it and I'll definitely throw Ariadne and Ivy at your characters too

YEAH he loves making things and can definitely have helped in the past. They'd be a good team for decorating cause he doesn't really have vision for aesthetics or organizational skills but he can DEFINITELY make stuff.

Oh god please have Jesse drag Reece to parties. Hilarity will abound.
