Tweak says, "You could be Dr. Evil."

Marilyn is very nice, but very naive. She doesn't get a lot of the references about pop culture, isn't quite 100% on social cues yet, and just generally is learning to live in mainstream society. Her mom is a magizoologist and her dad is a dragon tamer, so she never really lived in one singular place very long growing up. She was born in Australia, right around Sydney, and it's the dragon reserve they came back to the most. (If you listen to her speak, she sounds like an Australian and a South African had a Swedish baby. It's a thing) Anyway, since she didn't have a lot of structure or exposure to kids her own age growing up, she can take things literally or say things she maybe shouldn't and is still easy to take advantage of. However, when she first came to Gooseberry, a bunch of older girls took advantage of her in a nasty way. Taught her how to use her looks and manipulate people, bullied her into things, etc. It all ended when they caught her making out with GASP another girl, and she's kind of trying to overcompensate for that nasty turn into the high maintenance now by being even NICER than she is normally.

She's a sidekick type, content to be in the background rather than steal the spotlight, and is a big time supporter for those she considers friends. Marilyn loves animals, loves being outside, loves QUIDDITCH and flying, and just enjoys being free and not tied down and marching to her own beat. She's not a complete doormat, nor is she stupid, but both are common misconceptions to those who might not know her well (or remember when she was under the influence of what actual attention feels like) She isn't immune to ridicule just because she likes being herself and seems oblivious to most clique-social things, and can withdraw if she feels overwhelmed. She tries to be more wary now, and to forget that she liked being in the spotlight before, but still has some more maintenance tendencies that stuck after what happened. Shopping and shoes. (Not makeup, though. She can't put it on herself) Generally speaking, she's a gentle girl. A good friend. She uses writing to escape and get out creativity, and joined L.A.R.P. because that's basically like writing a character in a story then playing it out. :) She's also in Divination, and her senior project is gonna be seeing if Divination can be used to predict things about magical creatures; like health, reproduction, etc. She's also a vegetarian, so.
