Okay We still got a couple days until the next Grotto party. And it's been a minute since the last meme, but this game is like seventy percent journals, so there's a lot of character actions that get lost in translation but also are probably kinda super important.

SO we should have a Getting to know YOUR character meme. ~~I don't know how to make the special text box within a box thing on our getting to know you meme, because apparently that was a question I forgot to ask during our html tutorial.~~

The questions are subject to change, because it doesn't matter. We don't go over apps that often after people join the game, so now is your time to gush about your characters so we as students attending the same school as your characters can know them as well as you do.

Clique: Probably more obvious on the journals, but who do they stick to on a daily basis. Do they have class wives? Who do they cling to for specific classes? WHO DO THEY EAT LUNCH WITH?
Music: Music is a vital part of high school. What tunes do they play in the cabin and are they obnoxious about it?
Physical disposition: Are they quieter in real life? Are they more relaxed? Are they funnier? Bonus question - what is their physical disposition right now, since that shit changes on a weekly basis? Are they more quiet than usual?
Sexual partners: Any kind of sexual, not just actual sex. Can be specific, can be a vague number. How experienced is this kid and how well known is that?
Rumors: What do other kids say about this kid? How much of that is true. WHAT IS THE GOSSIP, YO

Name: Nathaniel David Bird.
Age: 17. 18 in February! Both my boys have winter birthdays, both my girls have summer birthdays, it’s weird how that happened.
Birthing order and has this affected them: Nate’s an only child, raised by his mom and stepdad for the most part. If he ever mentions his dad, he’s probably talking about his stepdad, but he’s usually pretty vague about his parents in general because it’s slightly complicated. He grew up on his stepdad’s dairy farm, which has been a family farm for some vague number of generations, and since he’s the only child he feels like he was always expected to grow up and take over, but being magic and going to magic boarding school kind of threw a wrench in the works there.

But really lbr Cricket and Maggie are his moms/sisters. Nate has three moms and two dads, this isn’t complicated.
Daily schedule: Tries not to self-destruct. Daily.
Pet Peeves: People touching his stuff, things being out of order, IDK man he kind of comes across way more easygoing than he actually is/was intended to.
Sleeping situation: Nate has never gone to bed on time, but he’s up at 6:00 every morning, even if he doesn’t want to be. It’s the latest he can manage to sleep in, and that’s like 2.5 hours later than he gets to sleep when he’s home, COME HELP MILK THE DAMN COWS NATE.
Behavior in class: Nate’s quiet, takes his notes, and doesn’t raise his hand or talk very often unless called on. If anyone hints that they need help, he’ll be right there, even if he really should be, like, working on his own shit and not worrying about these other people.
Behavior out of class: NATE IS SO NEUROTIC, YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW. Like, it’s so hard to get it to come out in journals, but Nate is OCD as fuck, and right now he is super overloading himself (and also there’s GLITTER ON HIS STUFF FUCK YOU CAMERON) and he’s getting even more neurotic and sleeping like an hour a night. If you’re sitting next to him in the Bear Cave, you can probably hear him grinding his teeth, or you need to tell him to stop biting his nails. Also he never leaves the Bear Cave if he can help it. The library is his second dorm. He probably sleeps there more than he sleeps in his own bed.
Clique: ALL ABOUT DAT PLATINUM TRIO LIFE.
Music: He plays his terrible modern country on headphones while studying, doing homework, possibly trying to block everybody out so they can try to sleep.
Physical disposition: you know he tries not to step on cracks in the ground. you know his stupid ocd compulsions are like 99% just fucking my own.
Sexual partners: None at Gooseberry, but honestly WHO KNOWS WHAT HE GETS UP TO IN IDAHO. When he’s back home he tries to act much more like his regular ass country kid friends.
Rumors: “I’m honestly not even sure who that guy is.”

	Yaaaay for TEAM SUPER NEUROTIC! I feel like they get along so well because they recognize a lot of really unhealthy behaviors in one another that they try to hide from everyone else. Just like... the masculine and feminine versions of dealing with their emotions. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Right, they're like, oh good people who think this is a totally normal way to act, I don't need to explain to them WHY THIS NEEDS TO BE A CERTAIN WAY. 	Exactly! Cricket gets to be responsible for all the laborious, menial tasks like making flash cards for all 3 of them. Also, she will do all the reading notes. No problem. And poor Nate gets all the real work like trying to explain to Cricket how magic works >:( (Reply to this) (Parent)
