Okay We still got a couple days until the next Grotto party. And it's been a minute since the last meme, but this game is like seventy percent journals, so there's a lot of character actions that get lost in translation but also are probably kinda super important.

SO we should have a Getting to know YOUR character meme. ~~I don't know how to make the special text box within a box thing on our getting to know you meme, because apparently that was a question I forgot to ask during our html tutorial.~~

The questions are subject to change, because it doesn't matter. We don't go over apps that often after people join the game, so now is your time to gush about your characters so we as students attending the same school as your characters can know them as well as you do.

Behavior out of class: Are they massive assholes? Do they live in detention? Do these assholes who claim to punch people actually punch them?
Clique: Probably more obvious on the journals, but who do they stick to on a daily basis. Do they have class wives? Who do they cling to for specific classes? WHO DO THEY EAT LUNCH WITH?
Music: Music is a vital part of high school. What tunes do they play in the cabin and are they obnoxious about it?
Physical disposition: Are they quieter in real life? Are they more relaxed? Are they funnier? Bonus question - what is their physical disposition right now, since that shit changes on a weekly basis? Are they more quiet than usual?
Sexual partners: Any kind of sexual, not just actual sex. Can be specific, can be a vague number. How experienced is this kid and how well known is that?
Rumors: What do other kids say about this kid? How much of that is true. WHAT IS THE GOSSIP, YO

Name: Kurtis Gregory Prince Wolfhart
Age: 17
Birthing order and has this affected them: Middle of 3. Brother 4 years older, sister 6 years younger. His brother is just like "HEY BUDDY LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT HOW THE WORLD WORKS" and tries to turn Kurt into a formidable young man (same project as rest of family, very different approach). Kurt's extremely close with his younger sister despite the age gap, and he's very protective of her; especially after their parents divorced a couple of years ago and he felt like he wasn't there for her. :'( Ironically, his brother feels the same way about both of them... he just has a different way of expressing it, and neither Kurt nor their sister realize it.
Daily schedule: Kurt is not a morning person at school. He drags himself to breakfast sleepily while Ursula probably chases him so she can try to tame his cowlicks before class. He likes to do his homework outside. He tries to spend a lot of free time at the stables, and he likes to relax outside, or in the Atrium by the fireplace. He practices spells and Drama lines with his fave horse, Lacey.
Pet Peeves: People cutting him off when he's caught on a word, people who talk real loud, bring called out (for anything) in front of people, being made the centre of attention when he doesn't wanna be (which is almost always).
Sleeping situation: Boxers and a t-shirt to flannel PJ pants and a t-shirt, depending on the weather. Wakes up minutes before breakfast. Does not stay up overly late.
Behavior in class: Makes self as small as possible, tries to attract as little attention as possible. Being called on makes him stammer like nobody's business. ... UNTIL NOW! This semester, and especially in the past month, he's been raising his hand a little more in class to answer questions (and even ask them!). And he's stuttering less most of the time. It's rad as hell, guys.
Behavior out of class: To people he doesn't know really well: introspective, quiet, will defer to most people. With close friends: silly, inquisitive, eager to help. Like... there's a reason I changed his Animagus form to a dog yesterday.
Clique: Chloe, Ursula, Tabitha, Bailey, and Cricket (she IS the big sister of the Equestranauts). He's trying to spend more time with Pippa. Apparently Kurt has no male friends??
Music: I went over this in the music meme. He's probably 25% Americana folk, 25% psychedelic rock, and 50% power pop (think OK Go, We Are Scientists). Nothing would be blasted out loud... unless he thinks he's alone and he has too much energy and he needs to dance it out. ahem. He swears that never happens.
Physical disposition: Kurt definitely slouches when he thinks nobody's looking, but a life of Stupid Country Clubs has taught him not to slouch when somebody's glaring at him super hard. He's getting more comfortable with being his silly self in public, although it's still gonna take some time. When uncomfortable he's super quiet, he fidgets, and he looks generally unhappy as well as perpetually startled. Comfortable Kurt is playful and affectionate with his pals.
Sexual partners: ho ho ho. Kurt is totally inexperienced. The only people he's ever kissed were during Spin The Bottle at the last Grotto party and he HATED it. It's probably well-known that he's completely inexperienced in every way, because he's always been this super timid guy who never tried to make a move. Despite it being an all-around Crappy Experience, Kurt did learn from the Grotto party that maybe he's more okay with the idea of "kissing and, you know, stuff," but that kissing random girls for a party game just isn't his scene.
Rumors: Well, he punched Sy and shouted at him but that ain't really a rumour. There's a fun rumour that Kurt and Isaiah have ESP because whenever they hang out it's in total silence. But other than that, who knows?

whups i forgot some disposition stuff. Some IMPORTANT disposition stuff. i am The Worst.

Kurt's comfort places are Equestrian and Drama, and he's going to be much closer to his outgoing side even with people who aren't his friends. The stutter wasn't originally produced by anxiety, but the longer it went on, the more attached discomfort/anxiety became to the speech disorder. Hanging out and talking to animals is extremely calming to Kurt, meaning that his stutter is kept at bay a fair amount — and then he also feels like he's free to be that more playful side of himself.

Drama is a similar but still slightly different situation because he was pushed toward ~the theatre~ by a speech therapist when he was younger, and having the script and blocking available helps him speak publicly. He's worked really, really hard at it and it turns out the kid has a talent for acting. Kurt on stage isn't always recognizable from off-stage Kurt, and the stutter really only shows up when he fucks up bad during rehearsals.

YOU ALL NEEDED TO KNOW EVERY WORD OF THAT INFORMATION, I'M SURE!

Kurt definitely talks shit out with Lacey when he thinks nobody's around; I bet Cricket knows some pretty scandalous stuff by now. ("Did I... Did I forget to turn out my light before I left the cabin?!")

Buuuuuut aaaaaactuaaaalllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Kurt's slated for a Teenaged Love Crisis at the end of the month (THANKS, PLOT CALENDAR!!!) and I was going to see if you'd be down to have Cricket be the one he goes to for advice with his confused puppy-dog eyes; there is also potential for her to meddle in the situation with Sun-mi. BUT NONE OF THIS IS FOR LIKE TWO WEEKS SO I'M JUST GONNA POKE YOU ABOUT IT LATER.
