Okay We still got a couple days until the next Grotto party. And it's been a minute since the last meme, but this game is like seventy percent journals, so there's a lot of character actions that get lost in translation but also are probably kinda super important.

SO we should have a Getting to know YOUR character meme. I don't know how to make the special text box within a box thing on our getting to know you meme, because apparently that was a question I forgot to ask during our html tutorial.

The questions are subject to change, because it doesn't matter. We don't go over apps that often after people join the game, so now is your time to gush about your characters so we as students attending the same school as your characters can know them as well as you do.

Name: Robin Maverick Youngblood. He has the best middle name. Age: 17. His birthday is on Christmas. He's not resentful of that at all. Birthing order and has this affected them: Middle kid, but idk if this has affected him, like, at all. I know his little brother is a Coppertale freshman and he pushes him around and picks on him like a good big brother. Daily schedule: He and Tess run in the morning, but he can be easily persuaded to miss it. Pet Peeves: I just thought this was a good time to tell everyone that Robin has a snake and he only feeds it dead mice because it's afraid of live mice and he's always like, "VIRGIL YOU ASSHOLE YOU'RE MAKING ME LOOK BAD" Sleeping situation: There's a sticky note addendum to Rafael's Cabin Rules list. "Robin wear some fucking underwear at night." Behavior in class: SO. robin struggles in classes, and it's probably super obvious. like, he takes furious notes and they are practically illegible, and then when it comes to test time he gets terrible test anxiety and chokes. take pity on him. :( Behavior out of class: He's pretty much exactly how he is on the journals. But with a lot more hitting people. "Playfully" hitting people. Clique: He is, like, sewn to Trixie's hip on their free time, and sidles the fuck on up to Chris and Tess in classes because heyyyy buddies who take better notes. Music: SO OBNOXIOUS. my god. he listens to terrible, terrible metal, and he listens to it loud, and then he doesn't even like dance around to it or anything, he just sits there and like does his homework to it. Physical disposition: Honestly, however you imagine Robin, you're probably right. He's intense and in your face and kind of clueless about, like, boundaries and social etiquette and shit. Sexual partners: Pffft. Robin barely even thinks about sex. Rumors: Cheryl started doing Robin knows [x] for the apocalypse, where [x] is something domestic or fancy. Like Robin knows how to bake a souffle for the apocalypse. Or Robin knows how to get blood out of a silk tie for the apocalypse. Because Robin's mother was his home school teacher before he went to a real school, and apparently she just taught him domestic shit, but he claims he knows it for the INEVITABLE END TIMES. Name: Rafael Alejandro Ramirez Age: 17, and he's one of the babies of his year, so he's staying that way. Birthing order and has this affected them: Raf's the second and youngest son. Rafael and his brother have a very contentious relationship. Ricardo wreaked havoc on Rafael's interpersonal relationships all through school, under the guise of being "protective" of his little brother. Ric is incredibly hard on anyone who tries to date Rafael, and will nitpick them to death. Daily schedule: 6:00 AM he's up and off to barre. A couple times a month he has physical therapy with Mufferaw at 4:00 PM on Sunday. At 7:00 PM he goes on a walk. Pet Peeves: Sore losers, belligerence, being reminded that rule breakers don't care about points. Sleeping situation: Goes to sleep at 11:00 PM, gets up at 6:00 AM. He's so regimented that sleeping past 6 is hard for him. He sleeps in shorts and a tank top in the summer, but as soon as the temperature slips below 50 degrees he's in pants and a tee shirt. Behavior in class: Teacher's pet. Rafael is a know-it-all, always a little too eager to take charge, answer questions or volunteer. He can steamroll quieter students by accident. Behavior out of class: WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. He's a bit more relaxed out of class, especially when he's not doing prefect stuff. Rafael's always kind of intense, though, and he's very assertive. There's a lot of direct eye contact. Clique: He's usually in the company of Wes, Sun-mi, Ravi or Ty. Music: Rafael listens mostly to classical, and keeps it in his headphones. He hates that his chosen genre of music is SO BAD at drowning out Robin's metal, and spends a lot of time behind his heavily charmed privacy curtain. Physical disposition: Graceful, precise, great posture. He definitely comes off as a little on the prim/reserved side during conversations, and pays a lot of attention to how he holds himself. He's also wildly flexible, and sometimes studies while hanging out in the splits. He has a weak right knee and hip that can make some really unpleasant popping noises. Sexual partners: Rafael has only ever had sex with Quinn. He acts smooth, and he's turned out to be a huge flirt, buuuuut in reality has very limited romantic/sexual experience. Rumors: He's a control freak who gets off on power. He probably wishes he were Head Boy. His parents are famous in Mexico, and they're supposedly divorcing over a cheating scandal. Name: Christopher Alexander Park Age: Seventeen Birthing order and has this affected them: He is the baby and also has a different father. There's a little bonding over shitty fathers going on there, but he's still a little bit apart, since his problems aren't identical to his siblings. But he still gets teased and shit like any other baby of the family would. Daily schedule: Chris wakes up around six on most days. He usually goes down to the pitch before breakfast to get in some aiming practice. Then he eats breakfast and goes to classes. After classes, on most days he returns to the pitch. Or he spends a couple hours over his homework. When it's time to settle down for the night, Chris usually reads for a couple hours. Pet Peeves: Rigid structure, authoritarian attitudes, bullying Sleeping situation: Despite how much Chris pretends to enjoy napping, he actually stays up near midnight, if not beyond it, nearly every night, but he somehow manages to be up by six. All of his perfectionist tendencies come out at night, so he stays up late perfecting homework. The more anxiety he has, the less he sleeps. He's been sleeping a lot less lately. Behavior in class: Chris is a small bit of a class clown. Half the time, he also seems irritable, but he takes schooling extremely serious, and takes the greatest notes suck it, Rosy. But he doesn't raise his hand to answer questions or any of that nonsense. Tho if Robin, or someone Chris is favorable of, actually asks him a question in class, Chris is pretty calm and helpful when he explains the answer. Behavior out of class: Chris is partially a krabby patty. His resting face is a scowl. He doesn't do heart to hearts. And he doesn't seek out conversations. If he's in the cabin with you, you're probably sitting in silence until you start the conversation. He doesn't laugh a whole lot, he doesn't like smiling. And if you really annoy him, he can be intimidating and loud, but it's very obvious Chris has this wall up between him and you'd have to do something pretty drastic to get him to lower it. He lives in detention, and sometimes it IS because he punches people he threatens to, okay. BUT when Chris lets himself relax, he can be perfectly ridiculous with his friends. Clique: Levi was probably close to being Chris's class wife for their classes at the start of the year, but now he's drifted a bit back more toward Coppertale.`He probably eats lunch with trixie, tess and robin now. HERE IS A BREAKDOWN He sits close to Tess/Trixie in Charms, Hermeticism, Potions (sorry Diego, but Chris is never sitting by you in potions again bc it's bad luck), Transfiguration, Artificing He sits close to Ty in History of Magic and he sits close to Rob in Occlumency and DADA, and basically accepts that Rob is gonna feed off of his notes Music: Uh, Chris listens to some popping tunes. Like heavy heavy hip hop and r & b. Which is a drastic opposite of his personality, but he digs that shit. And sometimes he'll turn that shit up in the cabin, but usually he keeps it down. Physical disposition: Chris is a lot more contained in reality. On the journals he talks to whoever however he feels like it. But in real life, he's more to himself. He'll still say whatever he wants, and he still cusses like a sailor, and he'll threaten to kill you, but he doesn't usually go out of his way to do that. It's probably a lot harder to get to know him in reality. RIGHT NOW Chris is even quieter and more contained than usual. Like there's obviously something off about him, despite how he behaves on the journals. Right now, he's a bit antisocial. It's gotten a little better with the rock tbh Sexual partners: Chris has had about five sexual partners. Levi and Quinn are the only ones I can name right now? But he clearly doesn't view it as a special moment. He's pretty open and willing about it. And in a pretty massive dry season right now. Rumors: Thanks to the anon post, THE RUMOR is that Chris is still hung up on Levi because Cecil stole his man. Only half of that is true. She's bratty and demanding and only cares about attention, and still trying to milk the cute crap long after she should have ditched it. Daily schedule: Riley sleeps in as late as possible every day, misses breakfast, takes about 20 minutes to do her hair and makeup, then complains all through her first class about how hungry she is. :(((( That is the only consistent thing she ever fucking does. Name: Kurtis Gregory Prince Wolfhart Age: 17 Birthing order and has this affected them: Middle of 3. Brother 4 years older, sister 6 years younger. His brother is just like "HEY BUDDY LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT HOW THE WORLD WORKS" and tries to turn Kurt into a formidable young man (same project as rest of family, very different approach). Kurt's extremely close with his younger sister despite the age gap, and he's very protective of her; especially after their parents divorced a couple of years ago and he felt like he wasn't there for her. :'( Ironically, his brother feels the same way about both of them... he just has a different way of expressing it, and neither Kurt nor their sister realize it. Daily schedule: Kurt is not a morning person at school. He drags himself to breakfast sleepily while Ursula probably chases him so she can try to tame his cowlicks before class. He likes to do his homework outside. He tries to spend a lot of free time at the stables, and he likes to relax outside, or in the Atrium by the fireplace. He practices spells and Drama lines with his fave horse, Lacey. Pet Peeves: People cutting him off when he's caught on a word, people who talk real loud, bring called out (for anything) in front of people, being made the centre of attention when he doesn't wanna be (which is almost always). Sleeping situation: Boxers and a t-shirt to flannel PJ pants and a t-shirt, depending on the weather. Wakes up minutes before breakfast. Does not stay up overly late. Behavior in class: Makes self as small as possible, tries to attract as little attention as possible. Being called on makes him stammer like nobody's business. ... UNTIL NOW! This semester, and especially in the past month, he's been raising his hand a little more in class to answer questions (and even ask them!). And he's stuttering less most of the time. It's rad as hell, guys. Behavior out of class: To people he doesn't know really well: introspective, quiet, will defer to most people. With close friends: silly, inquisitive, eager to help. Like... there's a reason I changed his Animagus form to a dog yesterday. Clique: Chloe, Ursula, Tabitha, Bailey, and Cricket (she IS the big sister of the Equestranauts). He's trying to spend more time with Pippa. Apparently Kurt has no male friends?? Music: I went over this in the music meme. He's probably 25% Americana folk, 25% psychedelic rock, and 50% power pop (think OK Go, We Are Scientists). Nothing would be blasted out loud... unless he thinks he's alone and he has too much energy and he needs to dance it out. ahem. He swears that never happens. Physical disposition: Kurt definitely slouches when he thinks nobody's looking, but a life of Stupid Country Clubs has taught him not to slouch when somebody's glaring at him super hard. He's getting more comfortable with being his silly self in public, although it's still gonna take some time. When uncomfortable he's super quiet, he fidgets, and he looks generally unhappy as well as perpetually startled. Comfortable Kurt is playful and affectionate with his pals. Sexual partners: ho ho ho. Kurt is totally inexperienced. The only people he's ever kissed were during Spin The Bottle at the last Grotto party and he HATED it. It's probably well-known that he's completely inexperienced in every way, because he's always been this super timid guy who never tried to make a move. Despite it being an all-around Crappy Experience, Kurt did learn from the Grotto party that maybe he's more okay with the idea of "kissing and, you know, stuff," but that kissing random girls for a party game just isn't his scene. Rumors: Well, he punched Sy and shouted at him but that ain't really a rumour. There's a fun rumour that Kurt and Isaiah have ESP because whenever they hang out it's in total silence. Name: Diego Constantino Morales Age: 17 Birthing order and has this affected them: Only son turned older brother to two sisters. Diego's family situation when he was an only child fed into his anxiety a lot, and his mom(s) just assumed he had an artist's disposition and that was why he's so fragile. That issue kind of got dumped into the lap of his stepmom who's now like "Is he ok???" Daily schedule: Diego's not terribly consistent. He goes on one run a day, usually whenever he feels like it, and works out regularly. He also works on his music daily, sometime in the evenings-ish. Pet Peeves: Aggression, mean humor :( Sleeping situation: Boxers and nothing else. Diego stays up late and sleeps in late. Behavior in class: Eager, but Diego has a really hard time following instructions. He's an intuitive, hands-on learner and would rather figure things out along the way than prepare in advance. He has a hard time focusing on reading for long periods of time, so studying becomes a chore for him. This makes classes a struggle, so he usually performs a little below average. Behavior out of class: FRIENDLY. Diego loves socializing. He'll talk to anyone. Sensitive people might detect a teeny tiny note of desperation to Diego's interactions. He's always worrying that he's boring or shallow or just kind of a shitty person. It makes him a liiiiittle too quick to accept affection. This worsens significantly when his life gets even a little bit hard. Diego has really poor emotional fortitude, and falls into periods of depression or melodrama very easily. Clique: Levi and Cecil are his #1 go-to buddies, but he also is often around Etta or Riley. Lately, he's been a little reluctant to spent time alone with Levi and Cecil, for reasons. Music: MUSIC IS VERY IMPORTANT TO DIEGO. He loooooves muggle indie folk music. Sufjan Stevens, The Mountain Goats, Elliot Smith, Bon Iver, etc. etc. etc. He consumes music ravenously, and has a YouTube where he posts badly shot videos of him performing covers and original songs. Diego is genuinely a gifted musician, and he works very, very hard at what he does. It's possibly the only thing he can pull himself together for. Physical disposition: He's very expressive, smiles tons, uses his eyebrows to emphasize what he's saying, and is generally very animated. He talks with his hands a lot. VIDEO OOH FANCY. Sexual partners: Diego lost his virginity to an unnamed much older girl when he was a freshman. OOPS. He's had a number of sexual partners, and he's really, really easy. If you want him, he's yours. Name: Cressida Mae Quayle Age: 17 Birthing order and has this affected them:Cricket has a touch of middle child syndrome, especially when it comes to attention from her mother. Preston in the first born son and he receives a lot of praise for things Cricket would consider... just decent human behavior. Ulysses is the baby! And that's okay, because she loves that he is the cutest lil baby ever. She puts a lot of pressure on herself to be competitive with Preston, especially since they both have political aspirations and very different political views (read: Preston is an elitist asshole). He was in Coppertale and graduated last year and I think part of why she is just now... doing whatever she is doing with Wes... is because Preston would have been really rude about her seeing someone who isn't magical elite. Daily schedule: Cricket is an early riser (like 6:30am). She likes to be at breakfast very early and read the paper before anyone else shows up. She spends a lot more time studying in the library than my obsessive commenting would have you believe. She does a lot of her reading in the stables too. I don't think she spends all that much time in her cabin, just because she gets easily distracted by hot gossip. She has rounds after dinner, which sometimes keep her up late, but usually, she goes to bed around 10:30. If she is up past midnight on a school night, you can guess that something is probably wrong. Pet Peeves: People who talk during class. SHUT UP! JUST LISTEN! Basically any stereotypically 'rude' behavior - chewing loudly, excessive swearing, wearing hats at meal times, popping your gum. Most of these things she lets slide without comment, but they grate on her. Feeling out of control. Sleeping situation: Cricket sleeps in sweet short sets. Silk in the summer and flannel in the winter! She braids her hair every night (or makes Maggie do it). Behavior in class: She sits in the front row whenever she can, takes creepily neat notes, always raises her hand, asks a lot of clarifying questions (sorry guys!). She usually isn't the first to jump to answer questions, though. Lately, however, people may notice that she doesn't seem as prepared for class and is rushing to turn in assignments. She has been working on SOMETHING ELSE and is a little distracted. Behavior out of class: Pretty much how she is on the journals. Warm, helpful, and right on the border of flirtatious and friendly. She waves to everyone she sees. Stops to ask about your day. Offers to help you with books. BUT! That's only when you can find her. She likes to squirrel herself away in the back corner of the library or the stables, because if you can't find her then she doesn't have to do anything for you. Then why does she keep offering to do things for people anyway, you may ask? I don't know! It's a compulsion! Clique: TAKE A WILD GUESS! I like to think Cricket doesn't talk on the journals with Maggie&Nate all that much, because they are constantly together and have nothing new to say. Music: She listens to old school country (think Dolly Parton) and mainstream poppy music (think Taylor Swift). Name:Leonardo Fiori Age: 17 Birthing order and has this affected them: He's the youngest child with a nine-ish year gap between him and his next-oldest sibling. So he acts largely like an only child, who has big shoes to fill. His siblings mostly treat him like a nephew; he didn't really get the SibExperience growing up and is always a little shocked to realize that when he sees other people's families. Daily schedule: Leo's day is actually highly regimented. He gets up at 6ish, goes to morning quidditch practice some days (Hi, I really have to figure out this as an actual schedule, I'm the worst, love, Lyss). The days he doesn't have team practice, he works out by running and lifting weights in his cabin. During the day, when he's not in class, he's working on homework and studying almost constantly. He spends a full hour almost every evening reviewing Quidditch strategies OR researching animagus stuff. Leo's a nerd :( Pet Peeves: interruptions. people arguing with him about things he knows better. the quidditch pitch being booked. Sleeping situation: As you can PROBABLY tell, he doesn't sleep much in general. He goes to bed late and wakes up early. He has the unfortunate habit of very occasionally just falling asleep in the clothes he went to bed in, but on the nights he remembers, it's just shorts and a t-shirt. Behavior in class: He loves class! He is very intense about class! He takes detailed notes, and listens to the teacher. He is also absolutely the kind of person to get in long-winding debates with classmates on topics he feels he's correct about, so if he ever gets scolded, that's why. If he wants to learn something, he doesn't like interruptions, and will speak out if a class clown is clowning. Behavior out of class: Kind of like I am sure we see on the journals, he tends to be a snarky smartass type, but in an easy-going, playful manner rather than an intimidating one. He doesn't really get in trouble. Clique: UMMM idk that he has a clique necessarily. He likes most of his other seniors, especially Serious Students. He spends a lot of time alone honestly. That's sad, isn't it. HE HAS WORK TO DO. Music: Leo likes classic rock because there's so many workout songs. Physical disposition: In person, he probably seems kind of cocky. He carries himself with quiet confidence; definitely asserts his presence with good posture. It's very plain and clear cut, he's never evasive and always speaks directly to people when he's talking. Very little to no fidgeting. He's not stiff, though; there's still an easy grace to all this. Somehow that makes him look more stuck up. Age: 16. Birthing order and has this affected them: LMAO THIS IS BASICALLY ROSY'S ENTIRE CONCEPT. Rosy is the oldest. She is a full thirteen minutes older than Sy, don't you forget it, and then there's baby Freddy who's actually like 13 but he will always be a baby to Rosy. So she Mama Bears and is super protective of her baby brother, and when she's at school I'm pretty sure she replaces him with sweet little Ribbonfishies who need someone to Mama Bear over them. The Reader's Digest version of the Stoker twin bullshit is: Rosy and Sy were pitted against each other in constant competition (over literally anything) with the better twin being rewarded with things like ice cream, presents, love, etc. Going to Gooseberry got them out from under their parents' thumbs, and there they could start to repair their relationship and stop constantly comparing themselves to each other and they are doing a terrible, terrible job of it super awesome good job at it shut the fuck up. She fights her instincts to be the first one to raise her hand in class and tries to give the opportunity to other students, but if no one's hand immediately shoots up then oh look at who knows the answer. She rewrites her notes afterwards, too. Behavior out of class: Rosy always acts like she's in a hurry and like you're annoying her, and she's sarcastic and doesn't know what feelings are whaaaat, but it's a pretty transparent defense mechanism. SHE DOESN'T NEED A HUG, YOU NEED A HUG. Clique: Until someone proves me otherwise, Ferdinand is her class wife, suck it. Also, she kind of divides her people into two groups: Actual Friends, and Fucking Children. In order for someone to be an Actual Friend, they must show that they don't need her to take care of them all the time. Fucking Children are people who clearly need to be taken care of and she will Grumpy Momfriend for them, don't make her turn this car around. That being said, I have no clue who her clique is, I don't even know where she is. Physical disposition: Rosy a) has perfect fucking posture, b) resting bitch face, c) walks too fucking fast. And she always looks like she knows exactly where she's going and what she's doing, even when she's trying to slow down or doesn't know where in the hell she even is. She's pretty guarded around most people, and is not down with unapproved people in her personal space. She sometimes looks like she's spoiling for a fight, but she makes deliberate efforts to soften her posture and face and basically not look like she wants to smash a face in. There's a two year age gap between her sister and her. so while her brothers are closer to eachother, she was always closer to her sister. She got that sibling experience, but since she is the last, she feels a lot of pressure to be exactly what her parents want because this is their last shot. Daily schedule: SO RIGID. Ollie is up by 5:30 at least. She does some lifting weights, she does some running, she does some push ups and sit ups. She has a very concise exercise regimen that takes about an hour every morning. Name: Sylvester Orfeo Stoker. Despite only liking to be called "Sy," he doesn't mind his somewhat clunky name. His middle name is Italian/Spanish and it pairs with his sister's (Sy's means "night," Rosy's means "star"). Sy thinks of himself as the oldest son, and carries all the pressure to live up to his father. His brother Freddy is 13; Sy and Rosy are extremely protective of him and carry a lot of guilt for escaping to boarding school and not being around to shield him from their parents. Sy is also attentive in Artificing and Aesthetic Magic, because he can occupy himself by working with his hands. Behavior out of class: Exactly how you expect. Sy's no longer punching people because if he punches someone, he loses his captainship, but fighting used to be a regular occurrence. Clique: Rosy and Reid are Sy's best friends, but he would never call either of them that. The Coppertale Quidditch team is basically his "clique." Sy has a lot of people he'd consider friends, and he'd hang out with Riley, Addy or Katya any time in or out of class, but his relationships in general are pretty shallow. Music: Rock & rap, both wizard and muggle artists. Sy plays his music at reasonable volumes because he's afraid of blasting his eardrums and having that affect his Quidditch performance. Physical disposition: Sy carries himself confidently, takes up a lot of space, and tends to stomp like a T-Rex because Sy never does anything quietly. When he's trying to be obnoxious (i.e. all the time), he slouches and lounges around and gets into people's personal space; but when he's not thinking about it, he's straight-backed and holds himself like he doesn't want people to touch him or talk to him. This is the body language he learned from years of being forced to go to social functions for his family. Sexual partners: Virgin and asexual. Sy doesn't understand why he dislikes the idea of sex, and doesn't particularly enjoy kissing or flirtatious physical contact either, although he'll make out with pretty girls, because that's what teen boys are supposed to do!!! Her youngest sibling is a Ribonfin Sophmore (if anyone wants to pick him up!!) and is also a beater on the house team, so I imagine that would make for some fun shennanigans. Daily schedule: Sofia is full of nonstop energy so she tries to keep busy throughout the day, she gets up early for morning runs, stays awake until 12 am, and does it all over again the next day. Name: Levi Kramer Age: 17 (18 in a month!) Birthing order and has this affected them: Fourth son, youngest. Daily schedule: Levi likes to sleep in whenever he can. Sometimes he skips breakfast to sleep in if his classes are closer to lunch time and after Charms on Wednesdays, he goes back to sleep for two hours and wakes up for lunch. He never misses lunch or dinner. Pet Peeves: For the most part, he's pretty relaxed and easygoing. More than a pet peeve, but non-consent and bigotry are easy ways to set him off. This has never actually been brought up in-game yet, but he's very pro-non-human races (besides straight up fetishizing the more monstrous races) and is a huge supporter of their rights. He loves HoM and has taken it every year because he loves learning about non-human races and he thinks that Goblins should be allowed wands and that there should be more accommodations for werewolves and vampires. Sleeping situation: Levi hates feeling constricted by clothes and overheated so he usually sleeps naked and keeps his privacy curtain shut. If he does wear pajamas, they're incredibly loose. In the winter time, he wears oversized onesies or kigurumis. Behavior in class: Levi's the shithead who tries to derail the lecture with off the wall questions relating to the topic. Partly to eat up time, partly to get a laugh, partly because he's genuinely curious. The first week of each semester, he tries to take notes but they end up turning into doodles on his paper. The doodles are topic-relevant to keep him on track because he's definitely more of an auditory learner and trying to jot every word down hinders him more than helps. He takes joy in toeing the line just enough to avoid detention, but he gets so many house points deducted from minor infractions. He also considers himself friends with EVERY SINGLE AZURCREST GIRL BECAUSE HE LOVES THEM SO MUCH. Riley is his boo. Trixie is his childhood friend and he'd kill for her, but they're probably not attached at the hip? Music: Levi listens to a lot of Wizard bands: rock, rap, trap, house, and a few indie songs in honor of Diego. idk if 2013 Wizard rock has a similar electronic-y sound as Muggle music, but if it does then he listens to it. Muggle-wise, he likes Meme remixes, vaporwave/seapunk/chillwave, chiptunes, and anything that was created on a computer. He also listens to a lot of instrumental tracks that are pretty jarring against his more upbeat and modern tunes. PLAYLISTS: 1: Musical taste inspo and 2: Instrumental inspo~ I like making playlists. Trixie isn't really all that affected by her birth order but if she was an only child she MIGHT be a little calmer. Most likely not. Daily schedule: Trixie is up early, she wakes up before breakfast and has coffee brewing as soon as she is up. She also goes to bed very late staying up most of the night in her bunk working on some sort of something. During the day she pretty much does the same thing, just always is working on something. Pet Peeves: Not being allowed bullets in school, being told to make things less dangerous. Having to stay in her own cabin. Sleeping situation: Trixie sleeps in an animal onesie, she has many. She gets very cold at times because she is tiny. Behavior in class: She is literally ALWAYS working on something, even in other classes she is working on some little invention which is okay because most of her classes are involved IN her projects. Not so quiet genius, she knows a lot but isn't too obvious about it. Behavior out of class: Trixie is as quiet as Trixie can be, she doesn't talk the entire class but she will mutter and mumble about things to Robin or Nate or Chris or well anyone she is near. Music: Bad horrible music, don't make me do this again. Folk metal and other crap. Physical disposition: Trixie has a stutter! She has issues getting words out but she is okay most of the time. It tends to look more like she is just over thinking whatever she wants to say and not just trying to get words out correctly. She tends to hop around bouncing on her heels, usually has a smoothie in her hand and spins her ring around her finger pretty much all the time now. Trixie is always in motion somehow. Katya has always been overly close to her mother and it's just gotten worse over time but she knows that even if she's super far away from her mom, things will be okay. Daily schedule: Katya hates mornings, she's usually the last one up and stumbles into the shower without paying much attention to anything. Then about four hours of getting ready trying to get her make up right, picking out her earrings and making her hair all perfectly straight. There is a lot of time primping before she leaves her cabin. She stays up late, listening to music or talking to cabin mates while smoking to get her brain to finally fall asleep. Pet Peeves: Being told no. Katya has been spoiled rotten for years now and the idea that she isn't allowed to do something makes her upset. She doesn't fight back often but it annoys her. Sleeping situation: She stays up late and usually either curls up with Riley or drugs herself to get some sleep. Katya has nightmares like no other but puts up silencing charms around her bed before she goes to sleep to keep that from getting out too much. Behavior in class: She talks. Constantly. All the time all the time in class but she listens too. Katya is a really good student she just talks a lot. Behavior out of class: Katya is usually super nice and outgoing doing everything she can to make sure people are okay and doing well. These days she tends to keep more to herself. Clique: Casper, various other Azurcrests like Riley and the rest of her dorm. She tries to not be too cliquey and will sit down with anyone or chat with anyone usually. Music: Lots of punk rock, usually something horror punk and screamy. Physical disposition: Usually Katya is super upbeat and happy, talking to everyone and being super overly friendly. Name: Casper Jay Kim Age: Seventeen -- Casper missed most of a year of school after his mother got hurt and had to repeat a grade, so he's older than most of his peers. Birthing order and has this affected them: Casper is an only child raised by a single mother and, later, by an aunt. He's accustomed to being alone and is very protective of the family he does have. Daily schedule: Casper's days are always busy, because he makes them busy, but not that regimented. He stays up late, gets up early, and always makes time to do something to vent his anger so he doesn't explode. Usually this means physical exercise (running, swimming, Quidditch, etc.), dueling, or playing the drums. He doesn't particularly like just sitting around. Pet Peeves: Everything. Casper isn't difficult to annoy and is generally sort of irritated all the time, except when he's with Katya. But a few specific pet peeves include: people trying to talk to him when he's got his headphones on (TAKE A HINT, DICK), gossip and rumors, condescension, nicknames, being treated like a crazy person for recognizing that Quidditch is just a game, and people that have no sense of personal space. Sleeping situation: Casper doesn't sleep well; he frequently wakes up multiple times a night, sometimes has nightmares, and generally doesn't find sleep that restful. He usually just sleeps in shorts or (during winter) shorts and a t-shirt. Behavior in class: Stern, attentive, and prone to glare at people that won't shut the hell up or stop being a distraction. He takes his classes seriously, especially DADA and Occlumency. Katya, of course, gets a pass on talking during class. Behavior out of class: Casper is a loner (mostly) and is just as antisocial, negative, aggressive, and full of swears in life as he is on the journal. While he's not a bully and he doesn't go looking for people to growl at, he's easily provoked and will snap at people just for looking at him wrong. Fortunately, he does keep his more violent impulses in check most of the time and will usually shut down emotionally or get the hell out of the situation before he can really explode. Clique: Mostly, Casper spends his time alone, with Katya, or with fellow Ebonhides (especially fellow Quidditch players, like Solo). He also sees Diego, Levi, and Z more than some others because of his occasional association with the Holy Rosicrucians. He doesn't have a lot of friends. Music: Casper mostly listens to loud, fast punk rock music and generally isn't interested in anything that doesn't have some anger or some kind of edge to it. Fortunately, he's fairly conscientious about this and almost always listens to his music through his headphones. He'll probably be deaf by the time he's forty. Physical disposition: Casper is athletic, sharp, and purposeful in the way he moves and he isn't the type to talk with his hands or fidget. He does fuss with his hair more than people might expect, often toying with strands or tucking pieces behind his ears or the like. Name: Tabitha Ogletree Age: 17 Birthing order and has this affected them: She's the eldest child and in the middle of her class. The latter hasn't affected her, but she does sometimes feel that her younger brothers get a disproportionate amount of family attention, being a) boys and b) twins. Daily schedule: Tabs always wakes up early to get herself showered and pristinely presented. She leaves the cabin early to practice her cello before breakfast, then goes to class. She spends her free periods in the library getting projects done, usually, so she can spend her evenings either playing or relaxing back at the cabin. Pet Peeves: Jokes at other people's expense when the other person doesn't like it, meanness, loudness in the cabin at antisocial hours. Sleeping situation: Tabitha usually goes to bed as the majority of her cabinmates go, and she sleeps in satin PJs. Behavior in class: Tabs sometimes looks a bit wide-eyed and trying to take it all in, not being naturally academic. Behavior out of class: Grade A sweetheart. Unless you are Diego or Anuhea, let's be real... Clique: Her close friends at Gooseberry include Maggie and Cricket (parental connections!), Zoey and Ravi, Cecil and Levi, Kurt and Reece, and some of the other juniors. Her class wife spot is open! Music: Her taste is very mainstream so she tends to be happy with whatever other people put on. When she plays, she sticks to classics, and when she sings it's a lot of folk and showtunes because they suit her voice most. Physical disposition: She's warmer and funnier in real life as she's more relaxed. She's quieter than usual, though, feeling like she's in a low period. The Amortentia thing made her sad, some of her friends are pairing off, and she's feeling a wee bit lonely. Sexual partners: Tabs is a virgin (and in her confused I DO NOT UNDERSTAND YOU DIEGO) wonders if this is part of the reason he cheated. She's kissed and fooled around a little bit with boys, but the only action this year was at the Grotto party which means she doesn't count it. Name: Dominic Louis Tremblay Age: 17 Birthing order and has this affected them: Oldest child (of two), something like the second oldest in his class. He acts like it, too. Daily schedule: Dom sets off early from the cabins because of his infamously conviluted routes he likes to take to class. EXERCISE IS IMPORTANT. Pet Peeves: Sy Stoker Bullies, people who don't know where the line is. Sleeping situation: Nude in summer (though he puts on pants before getting up!), shorts and t-shirt in winter. Behavior in class: Somewhere in the middle. He likes a joke and a laugh, but knows when he needs to can it. Behavior out of class: Pretty exuberant, flirtatious, often laid back unless you really piss him off and he can't avoid you. Clique: He has a lot of friends but no clique yet. VOLUNTEERS PLEASE. Music: Pretty classic rock. He isn't overly adventurous but doesn't mind other people's tastes as long as people don't bitch and moan about other people having a turn. Name: Chloe Shepherd Age:16 Birthing order and has this affected them: Only child, though she doesn’t have a lot of the stereotypical only child behaviors. Instead, she was that kid that always desperately wanted siblings, and imagined they’d be best friends. Still, growing up without siblings and not having many friends as a young kid probably did contribute to her being kind of shy and awkward. Daily schedule: Chloe sleeps as long as possible, so she has very little time to get ready in the morning and has to rush to do the few minimal tasks she does do (brush hair, brush teeth, wash face, dress. go!). She misses breakfast sometimes, and she’d miss it more if she didn’t feel like she would disappoint people. She often seems to be running a little late, getting to classes just in time. She stays up super late, often playing video games or other stuff on her computer. She’s hung extra quilts around the desk area/lower portion of her bunk in addition to the privacy curtain, to make sure the light doesn’t bother her roomies. Pet Peeves: Most things to do with being outdoors (bugs, getting dirty, being sweaty), rude people, people who borrow your belongings and don’t give them back Sleeping situation: She owns a lot of pop culture tshirts, and because the uniform means she has less opportunity to wear them during the day, she wears them at night. She also has an assortment of fuzzy and flannel pants, which she even wears in the summer. Behavior in class: In class, Chloe prefers to sit in the back and go unnoticed. She doesn’t speak up unless called on, and she takes notes that are kind of a hot mess - doodles, relevant content, completely disorganized. Behavior out of class: She isn’t exactly shy, because she doesn’t avoid social interactions, but she isn’t the initiator. Other than her friends, people have to start conversations with her, but when they do, she will be friendly and kind, though she is also easy to walk over and bully. When she feels overwhelmed, she tends to blurt out weird/awkward stuff, and she’s worse about that in person than on the journals. Clique: Mostly her fellow fishies, particularly her year. Kurt is her bestie. She is also really fond of Trixie, who actually understands her nerd references! Also Riley. Music: She listens to almost anything, really. A lot of top 40 stuff, but also anything else anyone recommends. She’s not particular, so long as it’s not super obscure or weird. She almost exclusively uses headphones, though they’re turned up louder than she realizes and people nearby can sorta still hear it, whoops. Physical disposition: Chloe sits on her knees, and usually hunches over whatever she’s working on - she has terrible posture. She bites her nails, but it’s way worse when she’s nervous or scared. When someone is aggressive towards her, she physically shrinks/curls up/shies away in response. Sexual partners: Hahahaha none. She just writes porn fanfiction on the internet. Rumors: UM, IDKIDK. Name: William Chase Age: 15 Birthing order and has this affected them: Only by birth, youngest by upbringing. He's way younger than his sister - and it probably shows, lbr. Daily schedule: He's not very organised. He will roll put of bed a maximum of half an hour before breakfast and basically showers, brushes his hair and dresses. Done. Pet Peeves: Will is pretty easy going. Just don't be mean to him or dig too far into his upbringing, or he'll be mad. Sleeping situation: He wears a t-shirt and cotton jogging pants to bed all year round. Move his glasses during the night and he'll kill you.
