ANNOUNCEMENTS: Oct 20
LMAO HOW IS IT THE 20TH ALREADY. Okay, head's up: Marin is still on slow posting because she is a disaster of an adult (and also technically just started a new job, so).

Regarding the rest of October, we will not be adding new events to make up for the ones which were struck out. A couple reasons: a) we figure the Pumpkin Carving Party, Costume Creation Party, Quidditch match and Halloween Dance will keep you all busy enough, and b) we need to slow down on creepy events to maintain the pace of the game. (But of course Halloween will not be devoid of creepy happenings!) We promised compensation, so if you lost an October calendar event and you did not already have at least two other events, you will get to see November's calendar a day early and sign up one of your characters in advance!

These players are:

- Roz
You five can expect to see next month's calendar on October 29! :)

For clarification, blank comments are considered "invisible" reactions and cannot be seen by other characters, i.e. icons do not exist in-universe, only text. Struck-out comments can still be seen and attributed to your character, though.

Yes, strict curfew and the buddy system are still active! Quinn Cunningham has taken the initiative to post BUDDY SYSTEM SIGNUP SHEETS, which will go in the library and on the bulletin boards of all house campsites. Aaand she's posted about it right here!!!

Okay, I need to spend this evening writing this weekend's Quidditch match and learning a new JS framework, so everyone tell me who your characters are asking to the Halloween Dance so I can figure out who my characters should ask. Feel free to use this as a plotting post if your characters don't have a date yet. I'm just nosy and want to know.

Also, Meggie would like to announce that she loves you and thinks you're all so cute, but I'm not adding it as a bullet point because I refuse to validate this gross unprofessionalism.

Now that I'm back from knitting (AND IF FORGOT IT AT THE RESTAURAAAANNNTTTTTT D: D: my rainbow sock!!), I can contribute more.

Neither Kurt nor Quinn have dates. Kurt is very unlikely to ask anybody on account of thinking that's terrifying, but if he was asked by somebody he thinks is reasonably A Good Person or A Good Friend, he will probably go. I also contribute: if it's a date he may be completely unaware of that fact until explicitly explained to. Abuse that as you will.

Quinn's not likely to ask anybody because I can't think of anybody who isn't going with somebody that she would think to ask. BECAUSE THAT MAKES SENSE?? But she's also pretending to be very independent and stoic, and claiming she's been too focused on her senior project to deal with dalliances; this is only half-true, she's probably just not that used to being single right now and it's weird.

DID YOU NEED THOSE EXTENSIVE PERSPECTIVES INTO MY CHARACTERS' PSYCHES? NO? WELL TOO BAD. Lmk if you want to plot some dateyness for either, I'll be all over that shit.

	OH UHM I've been procrastinating getting to the lines meme because I AM GARBAGE but maybe Diego will ask Quinn??? If you are still up for getting in on some of this BAD DECISION VALIDATION, that is! My friend did (so all is not lost!), but I won't see her for two weeks! And all of my notions are in with my sock! Which means the things I need to work on my brother's giant wedding afghan are also with her. :( :( :('

Diego may ask Qiunn, but she will def be requesting an Independent Women Who Don't Need Men (or Women, For That Matter) dance with Tess regardless :D
