I'm back from vacation now!

I absolutely neglected posts on Maggie because Levi is just easier and quick to write for while on mobile, so I'll be catching up on her soon! If any of my characters were needed anywhere, please point me in the right direction~ And if you need anything from me, just lemme know.

I'm also gonna be hitting up that meme because oh boy playlists sure are my thing and I already have one made for Levi anyway.

	they go sour soooo fast :c i spend a lot of time there for my art (although lol i'm in the middle of a 9 month art block) so i end up seeing a lot of it. at this point i follow only artists and reference blogs sooooo that cuts down on how much of the bad stuff i see. there's a ship I was, briefly, a pretty popular artist for. unfortunately, this ship was deemed HIGHLY PROBLEMATIC. as in, artists who drew it were getting torn to shreds pretty regularly. I WAS SO AFRAID THAT THE HATE TRAIN WAS COMING FOR ME, but i miraculously dodged it and now the fandom's died down. probably because i make a point of rarely, if ever, talking about myself on tumblr.

	lol yes, like marin said, it was Dirk/Jake from homestuck. And people decided that was an abusive ship aaaaaand I'M SURE YOU CAN GUESS HOW THAT UNFOLDED. hilariously, I have shipped and drawn many worse things and there was never any fear of fandom heat for those. homestuck was a hell hole. wasn't bro/dirk a popular ship? or maybe that's just what the people i followed shipped idk and idc. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i would never pin dirk/jake as Problematic™, from what i saw of them. i wasn't into the HS fandom because seeing how they behaved at cons totally turned me off from it. it was the same fucking people from the Hetalia fandom except now with unsealed body paint to rub off on everything.

bro/dirk is off in the incest corner of the fandom no one really bothers.

dirk's a gay kid who actively pursued the assumed straight jake who had a lot of other love interests. which the fandom was mostly cool with untilllll it became canon. and then they basically nitpicked this ship to death and were super hung up on dirk (the openly gay kid that made the first move) as a horrible controlling abuser. and the writer kept giving a lot of (mmmmmostly positive) attention to this ship even after they broke up so fandom exploded with a new wave of essays about how problematic it was every time there was an update. IT WAS SO EXHAUSTING.

i think this mostly over now but for awhile OUAT fandom had a bunch of "Anti-Ship" and "Anti-Character" blogs that literally only existed to trash those ships/characters and the ppl who ran them anonymously were like "We just want to make a safe space for people who hate this ship" lmao. Honestly it's maybe the pettiest fandom I've ever been involved in AND I WAS AROUND FOR THE GREAT KATAANG/ZUTARA SHIP WAR

	i've shipped a few problematique ships in my day. i don't even really DO anything on tumblr besides like, make gifs occasionally, and i get people coming after me sometimes. it's a really wild environment where you just have to be prepared for a total stranger to make an attack on your character at any time for any reason lmao.
