UHM, HI. Manx here, bringing in the last piece of Morales/Tran/Morales-Tran Voltron. Essie is kind of a terror where Diego and Mina are concerned, but everyone else should be safe as long as they don't refer to her as Mina and Diego's baby sister. She's nuts about art and artificing and likes to bridge the two to make artsy magical toys. Her area of the cabin is frequently making chirps and other disruptive sounds that she has to be reminded to turn off. (Frankie and Regan are totally welcome to paint her area of the walls.)

Let's see... some profile highlights!
+ The blonde hair is definitely new this year. Last year she was kind of mousy looking.
+ Her extracurriculars are Archery, Duelling & Fencing, Equestrian, and Outdoor Education, but she'll jump into any activity that seems fun at the time. She doesn't care about being 'good' at much of anything as long as she's having fun.
+ She was part of Azurcrest's cheer squad last year, but didn't try out this year because she needs ~space~ from Diego.
+ This is a 180 from last year when she basically was Diego's shadow everywhere because he is was the COOLEST BIG BROTHER EVER.
+ Okay, so Diego (and Mina) didn't actually do anything wrong other than existing. Near the end of the year, Essie got up the nerve to tell a boy in their year about her serious crush on him and he ~~BRUTALLY REJECTED HER~~ kindly let her down, but the rejection definitely included the words "Mina and Diego's baby sister" so the world basically ended right then.
+ This year Essie is interested in BOYS and PARTIES and anything else she thinks Mina and Diego would disapprove of. (Getting a detention would be like a badge of honor at this point.)

[7th year boy plotline opening!!] Soooo, if there are any 7th year boys out there whose main objection to dating Essie would be her little sister status, this is your big chance to get in on some of that sweet, sweet Morales/Tran/Morales-Tran dysfunction. I'm open to anyone, but preferably someone who is relatively nice and doesn't mind ladyparts. Essie is being very MISUNDERSTOOD TEENAGER about the whole thing, so she hasn't told Mina and Diego the specifics, but the boy in question may have talked to Mina and/or Diego about it. [Still looking!!]

UHM. So I really, really love the sophomores so HEY SOPHOMORES COME BE MY FRIEND. Or enemy. I guess. But you'll break my heart. 😢

I've been a complete delinquent when it comes to responding to intro posts so I will try to finally catch up on those, but feel free to also grab me about Ursula on this post. (I can probably take on like one or two logs right now if anyone wants something.) UHM YEAH. I think that's it for now. This was supposed to be short. ;;;;;;;;;

Diego is so insecure with a horrible mix of empathetic and bad at interpreting people that he just can't avoid getting himself worked up over this. Regardless, he'll always be there if Essie needs him. And sometimes when she doesn't. And yeah, Diego has avoided telling anyone. I think the only people he directly told might be... Cecil, Etta and Levi? THE FEWER PEOPLE WHO KNOW, THE BETTER. Essie is definitely the person he doesn't want to know most, though. :(

Yes, definitely parties! And older boys!!! And kissing!!! This year they are going to get this, and he totally supports and validates all of her feelings about her older siblings. Calvin's older brothers weren't protective so much as mean bullies who stepped all over him and were not super supportive about like. Anything. Ever. BUT. Estella you are so totally right, Diego is SMOTHERING, and you need SPACE.

YEAH SURE Reid sees nothing wrong with teaching other students how to climb things not meant for climbing. (Sorry student authority.)

DIEGO. Aw man Diego. Here you fucked up and that's not even the thing Essie is upset about. Deep under all that teenage rebellion, Diego totally still holds the BEST BIG BROTHER EVER title, but if she did find out about the cheating mess she would be super upset for reals with him. :(

CALVIN. Yes, please keep calling her Estella and validating her teenage rebellion. 😘 Essie will totally commiserate about awful older siblings (except probably start to feel guilty if Calvin talks about his being bullies since hers aren't ACTUALLY that bad but don't tell them that). Essie is totally up for aiding Calvin on his mission to woo sweet, sweet Ravi if Calvin lets her in on that. OR ANY OLDER BOYS. They are kind of interchangable to Essie, but shhhh.

REID. HIGH FIVE. Also I just remembered he has a rumored criminal record which SIGH would have made him the perfect boy for upsetting older siblings with except OMG MINA'S EX???? He isn't hiding a motorcycle somewhere, is he???

Ugh if/when she finds out he's going to have a really sincere sit down with Essie and apologize and explain things. I think out of anyone, she could get the most straight answers out of him about why he did it, but HE THINKS SHE WOULD LIVE A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE NEVER KNOWING.

Calvin will help Estella too, and together, all of these ~~ridiculous children~~ MATURE ADULTS will get the seniors of their dreams!!! Ravi is a dream boat but Levi is definitely rising in the ranks~ They are going to ATTEND PARTIES. And maybe GET DRUNK.

LMFAO I'M SORRY ESSIE. Sadly, Reid's dirt poor. He has a sweet bus pass though.

DIEGO. Um, yeah, you really fucked up and Essie would definitely want to understand why. She certainly doesn't understand how much of her own behaviour exacerbates Diego's long established insecurities, but she obv does have some general idea of his relationship with Not-Ofelia Mom. (Who shares a similar 'bad' label with Essie's Dad, even though I doubt they have ever met.)

CALVIN. Essie is not so sure about that Levi thing, but as long as you don't start cooing about how cute Diego is, mission is still totally on. OMG the first time Essie has beer she is going to be SO CONFUSED about why everyone keeps drinking it because it's so gross omg. BUT IF BEER IS THE GATEWAY TO SENIOR BOYS, THEN SO BE IT. (She def begrudgingly missed the first Grotto party this year since it was DIEGO'S PARTY.)

REID. They take a magical bus for the fifty feet it takes to get to school. :( What about tattoos??
