Hello! Becca here again with my second little cherub. This one is Amelia Higgs, Slytherin 5th year. Hmmm... things you should know about Amelia...

• Most people call her Amelia, but her close friends can call her Amy.
• Her older brother is Terence Higgs, who will hopefully be in play soon.
• She is generally quite diplomatic (despite actually being deeply irritated with lots and lots of people), and will be friendly enough because she doesn't like to burn her bridges when she might need something from someone later.
• However, she can be caustic if sufficiently annoyed.
• Her best friend is Allegra Flint.
• She's got a real natural gift for Divination but she doesn't really know how to control or interpret her skills. She's always had difficulty sleeping and an odd sense of déjà vu, both of which stem from predictive dreams that she doesn't know she has as she can never remember what she dreams about.
• She is annoyingly perceptive about people, even when they don't want her to be.
• She recently dumped Roger Davies after a six month relationship. At this point, most people probably know they were together but don't yet know they've split up. (If you've any interest in playing an acrimonious teenage break-up, app Roger!)
• Also, she is very, very allergic to cats and has to take a potion from Pomfrey every day. Some people think she has a potion addiction or a terminal disease. She doesn't.

And that's that! Let's plot! Friends, people who have successfully naffed her off, etc!

	Hey Amelia! Mel will like her I think. Friendly? Barney is... well the Higgses are the opposite of the Dunstans, by the sounds of it. So that's fun. I imagine he will be one of the irritating ones. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Mel and Amelia could definitely be friendly. Amy would probably enjoy some discussions about feminism. Hopefully Mel won't mind that the Higgses are the very definition of capitalists ;) And, yes, I fear that Barney will annoy Amelia. In that big, dumb puppy kind of why. 	As Roger's dorm/teammate (and, we assume, friend), I'm not sure how Hamish will treat Amelia once he finds out they have split up. He'll be polite, but perhaps a little bit at a loss on how to react around her. As for Cormac, I think his previous comment to her says it all. "Pfft, commas!" indeed. XD (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Presumably Hamish and Amelia will also know each other from their brothers being best mates (if/when said brothers eventually appear). I know Amy is going to be friendly with Cassius, so maybe that will help smooth the way with Hamish. Amelia says that her ability to put up with Cormac is a testament to her affection for Allegra. Awesome! Amy also thinks Divination is crap, actually. She was raised by a super pragmatic, business-minded family who think it is rubbish. But Sinistra really wanted her to take it after having her in Astronomy and she's sort of drawn to it, much to her annoyance.

I feel like Marietta (when she isn't being too giggly with Cho), might be someone Amelia quite likes.

	My future!Marietta actually manages to combine pragmatism and divination in a career and learns to love her third eye, but as of right now she agrees. Maybe they can be buddies in Div class and not really talk much outside of it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I don't know if Amelia will ever manage to love it, we'll see! I imagine that as she gets older and the war progresses her dreams are going to get much stronger, and more intense, and more demanding. She may not be able to deny it anymore at that point. That sounds good. Allegra will probably be distracted by Cormac in Divination anyway, so Amelia will need a pal, haha. (Reply to this) (Parent)

Hey Becca, Im Carrie and I have two here.

Lucy Chambers, sixth year Ravenclaw. Lucy can be a little abrasive without meaning to be, she likes Quidditch more than people and is a little too honest. Its hard to tell if she likes you or not, but she generally does, you just need to ignore the rude. She pretty much ignores her.

Jules Dorny,

stagnantly seventh year Slytherin and prefect. Jules is very closed off and generally hates everything. He likes to read, he likes to smoke, he doesn't like to socialise. He's permanently underwhelmed by everyone. He'll be as housemately friendly as he can be.

	Hi Carrie! I feel like Amelia prefers to be ignored by Lucy as she probably finds her deeply irritating. So that works out! As for Jules, perhaps they can sit together in silence in the common room and do their schoolwork. Amelia appreciates people who appreciate silence. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Amelia isn't much of one for giggling, so she probably never liked Cho very much anyway. She would have been nice enough though, because that is what she does. The current coldness won't bother her. And she doesn't care who takes Roger's side as Roger was a terrible boyfriend and she is well shot of him. (Reply to this) (Parent)
