Who: Queen Mairi Macmillan, Flora Carrow, and Ciaran Macmillan (NPC-ish - he's a baby!) When: January 19 Where: The Royal nursery Summary: Nothing heals grief like the love of a child - and a discussion of that child's safety Rating: SFW Status: Closed / Ongoing Mairi approached the crib, helpless against the tiny face that looked up at her with outreached arms. She smiled - she had done that so rarely these past weeks, and felt guilty for doing so, as if she were shirking her duty to Padraig by being enamoured by her grandson. She picked him up, welcoming his arms around her neck as she nuzzled his cheek, smelling the myriad of scents that to her meant child and love and home.
"And how is my Little Prince today?" she asked, in part to Ciaran, in part to Flora who had witnessed the reunion as the boy's caretaker.
